Not to quibble but I think the opposite would be better- a wrap than PPF- this gives depth of color that you don't get with a glossy wrap. This is what I did with my Vette and it worked really well- it's still not paint, but looks better than glossy wrap alone. Any wrap has a limited shelf life anyways so factor taking it off as part of it. And when you do, the PPF will be coming off too or will be damaged enough that you will need to replace it.

Having said that, I just found out my wrapped C7 still has the wrap on it after 5 years- or least when the last owner sold it.

I was thinking, the vinyl wrap would be easier to take off, when you decide to change color.

Could someone help
me read this DME report?
All I need to know is if there are any issues with range 1 and 2.
Thanks!

DME looks good, as long as everything else checks out, I would go for it. Range 1 and 2 are fine to have. Once you get into range 4, 5 or 6 then that is when you should be weary.

If my quick calculation is correct, that engine spent about 3.2 sec at the rev limiter, not necessarily in one go. Nothing fatal.

I'm looking at buying a 2019 991.2 GT3 RS. MSRP was $225k, dealer is looking for $240k as a CPO with 1.5 years of warranty remaining and 13k miles on it. The car has been tracked and has a GMG roll bar and Schroth harnesses, but I don't know how many track days are on the car. It has PCCB, so there's a question of how much life is left on the rotors. The entire car has PPF. Is this a good deal?

I’d find a comparable and negotiate.

It’s one of the lower prices listed on cars.com for a comparable.

That is a great question as I did the same with my last two GT cars. My RS I sold it to the same dealer and my GT4 I sold it to a different dealer. Why? the hassle free not dealing with tire kickers. I had 6 P/m's reached out last week regard my Touring and they all asked for pics and a few threw low numbers around just to see what I would say and no intentions of buying in my opinion. Dealers do not ask much questions and wired funds the next day. End of the day is a few less $ coins and avoid tire kickers is what I am comfortable with. My GT3T is mint and I am 100% sure this car will appear on this board soon. Now I am chasing a RS 991.2 or maybe go back to 997Rs.

Hassle vs a few bucks - smart man. Awesome you got healthy price - I have been hearing sub msrp on sale back to dealer without a purchase of new car on the GT cars lately. Sounds like yours is a special one
