The 992 Touring is already up to 250k after buyers fee. MSRP 219k. 7 days to go. Seems like it remains a sought after car to me.

The other one was better honestly. There is a trend. Same set of people selling/buying/flipping.

Good stuff. Nothing like losing ADM money and hopefully some lessons learned and next time around smarter decisions.

Question. What is a car like this (below) realistically worth in this market ( I get it's whatever someone will pay)?

It's on the higher milage side for a 16' RS that we normally see for sale here and being that it's Silver, the color definitely doesn't help make it to be more sought after. A price of 170K would be my guess of value if it was in a stock configuration.

Normally modifications are a wash when it comes to selling a car and only pennies on a dollar can be recovered if any. Porsche has a very strong following that seem to like and value their cars in the stock configuration. With a car like this having close to 100k in modifications on it where should its price realistically land? With it wrapped you can't see if any damage has been done to the original paint and it has a tune which can be argued that depending on who did it and what it's parameters are can be harmful to the engine.... What are your thought's guys?

2016 GT3RS 25,765 Miles. Asking 220K... TON of add on's and a tune on this one ($93,000 in mentioned mods below). GT Silver wrapped in Miami Blue. Someone had a great time building their vision. WOW.

I would personally not touch that car. There is simply no way those modifications didnt leave any easter eggs.

That being said, those modifications are worthless if in the event you have to liquidate your assets and bank wants money (extreme case). With those miles (considering a 2019 RS with half the miles went 10% under msrp today), I’d say 20% below msrp is maximum I’d pay.

Completely agree. Never understood why anyone in 2023 still expects mods to add value to a car, especially on something like a GT3RS. If anything, most would pay less, not more for something so heavily messed with. Not to mention the wrap too.

2019-early 2020 had Weissach 3RS's going for 180-205k on BaT so not the lowest price ever. Market is correcting, buckle up.

This is true. Typically when a car is modded you narrow your pool of buyers, so unless you find the buyer that understands what was done and it was all tip top work that they'd want anyway, you're not getting the money back out again on the other side. The only cars that seem to buck this trend of late (not sure if still the case) are built up 4x4s like Land Cruisers. I paid probably double what I should have for a used one that had all the stuff done already, and that was pretty standard at the time. I imagine it's still true to some extent.

Another data point. Should be interesting to see where this ends up. A 7k mile touring at 6k over MSRP currently with fees and 7 days to go.

You guys are incredible. You pounce daily on any data factor which supports prices on RS cars are crashing. Just because one sells on BAT for under MSRP that seems to now set the trend when there are others daily still trading far above that in the $240k to $260k range depending on spec, color and miles. Keep holding out my friends!!
