The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

Right. That's somebody's dream car, when will the next one come around? Wait indefinitely for unspecified and uncertain savings? Not everyone is on board with the Jay Powell GT3 acquisition plan.
Future prospects for an n/a, 6MT, Miami Blue GT3 aren't looking up. Commentary below from a west coast dealer on the 992 side. Worth remembering the other facets of a worldwide slowing economy, ongoing supply & production limitations. It's not just auto loan rates.
to address total production and overlap etc...dealers were given the 'entire calendar year of GT allocations' already. so, anything beyond this current allocation batch is definitely a 2024 but also probably built in 2024. Our store got a lot less than I'd hoped for, and in terms of GT3 production from our allocation of 2023's they made ~80-90% of them as 2022's or this year in 2022 vs what we are getting in 2023...that slack is not entirely getting taken up by the 3RS- but by the Dakar (2500 units WW), the GTS, the Turbo/S, and GT4RS (made on same line as 911).
if you have a car coming be grateful and if you don't- just do more trackdays with whatever you have in your garage right now.

haha caught my attn. as well. Porsche must be seeing green, $222k starting for a 911 with a lift kit and some all-terrains, sounds like a pretty good business plan. (Selling it short as a project, I'm sure, but wow that's steep.)

The Leh Keen effect! Maybe this will be the new Porsche fad going forward.

Think the buyer pretty much admitted to overpaying on the MB car but sounds like he had a very specific idea in mind about spec and so paying 10-15% over market was worth it to him. Hard to argue with that. But yes, my 215k would go to that green car 10 times out of 10.

"MB is my Halo color for this car " I'm holding onto mine for dear life. There is nothing else I really want right now and I know once I sell this one it won't be easy to get another.

I actually generally prefer blue over green but Miami has a little too much mint green under bright daylight for me. I prefer other blues vs Miami but that's why Porsche offers so many variances on shades that would be indistinguishable for the random pedestrian.

Another cool trick of the MB, just wait for the light of day to change and the color will change with it. Not super drastic at times but def enough to notice. There are def times of day where the color looks OK->Good but then it can go from Good->DAMN! Imo, another reason its a bit more special.
