also https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...he-911-gt3-24/ high bidder didnt follow through, price came all the way down to 165k privately and is still not sold at that price (significant # of cosmetic issues but nonetheless fantastic spec otherwise)

I'm just interested in the story. I'm looking for a Guards Red touring, sofas, FAL and leather. Let me know if you come across one in your search.

The GT market is literally collapsing, even tho im taking delivery today on a brand new one and dont care....
Check this out: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...t3-touring-11/
This was for sale in my hometown of Los Altos by the owner for either 175k or 180k literally 6 weeks ago, then this dealer buys it.
It is SUCH a low spec I am thinking it doesnt hit more than maybe 180, goes to 196 and the some random that bids on other cars that are massively inconsistent with ever bidding on a touring, bids 30k over that to 225k..... ROFL
This has to be the dealer pumping to go relist and dump after the auction "buyer" never performs. Might even be him (the dealer) wasting 5k just to try and pump an extra 30k lol
This just does not add up

Curious as to your market conclusions from the 2019 Touring that just sold for $230k on BaT. Black on black, 4k miles, sofas, FAL, 6spd, aftermarket exhaust, generally a lean spec, ~$80k over MSRP. I am relatively new to the GTx market place, but this doesn't look like a doomsday data point.
EDIT: uh, never mind. I scrolled up and read all the cynical conspiracy theories about this and other recent GT listings on BaT. If you hate BaT so much, what platform/marketplace do you find to be a better definition of the GT marketplace?

Touring's are hanging on so far in the +-75k over range, 6-spd GT3's in the +-40k over range with some mileage sensitivity. Seems weakness mostly in the pdk/sofa/forgot FAL combo.
With that said still the best driving experience in a 911. Ever.

Why wouldn't a buyer with $235k not purchase this GT3T which is CPO'D and has $20k more in options. I'm sure an offer of $225k would buy this one.

It could either be a shill bid as noted above but BAT truly does sometimes bring astounding results due to the (largely male) tendency to get into bidding wars and forget logic. There was yesterday, get this, a '19 M3 Competition manual with 19k miles that went OVER list price. That might be the dumbest thing I've seen in awhile - there are many better examples for lees on Autotrader.
That said, there's really no other good auction house to go to that has these cars.
Autotrader and CarGurus have their UI faults that makes me so angry (nationwide search on Cargurus nets same result as 500 miles, and why can't they just let us see the new listings from teh searches we saved... why have to figure out which ones are new, and not removing sold ones... etc.)

I have no affiliation with this ad, but seems like a good deal if VIN and DME are clean. Seems like an oddly spec'd trim but one of the lowest priced .2 6spd recently. Maybe good for someone more local to check out.
