My friend sold his red .1 GT3 on BAT; went up a around 7-10 after he finished all the photos / videos / records they requested. That was about 2 weeks ago.
I looked at putting my car up on cars and bids; there's would have been up a day after all my records came though.

.2 GT3, chalk, 7600mi, PCCBs asking 190k https://www.parkplace.com/used/Porsc...3d9935e528.htm

I went to check this car out and it has two very interesting mods:
  • PCCBs were changed to red. Allegedly the Porsche Dallas manager owned this car previously, and thought the yellow looked bad. Had his shop repaint the calipers. It's done very well but I am personally not a fan.
  • Factory buckets were changed out to the sofas. Same manager didn't like them and traded with a customer who wanted the buckets. This was a dealbreaker for me and I passed on the car.
If someone is okay with the mods, I think this a pretty good value as it's quite close to MSRP.

It just happened.

And yes I very very much believe 25k over by spring will be not hard. December is a very very good time to order cars as everyone is out spending money on christmas time/NYE stuff so busy and low on funds. I would strike then. I think you get an allocation for 25k over with not much issue at all.

There are 118 2022 gt3's for sale right now on autotrader and they just sit and don't really sell it seems. That Ferrari dealer with one for 265k with 371 miles can't sell and has been sitting awhile. The market is falling pretty quick for the 992 it appears as just 1-2 months ago cheapest one listed was around 290k. 25k drop to the bottom in 1-2 months is significant especially given the fairly gluttonous supply. I never saw over 100 991.2 GT3's for sale in 2018/19 fwiw
so you got me all excited about the possibility of a 992 so i called porsche greenwich and the sales rep said the 992 gt3 production run is already over and he is expecting to get one more car which the owner of the dealership is taking himself so they are expecting zero new cars for sale and anyhing used get in will be $80-$100k ask over msrp

19K miles. $186K MSRP

CPO - Chalk, 6MT, Buckets, PCCB.

Miles driving the lower price compared to the market?

The issue is there is no "value". Before this near vertical bubble took off, 991.2 prices we're below MSRP and they still had 2-3 years of warranty. This is not an organic growth/value increase, this is a speculative bubble. Anyone buying a GT3 right now at these prices concerned about "value" will regret it in 10-12 months time.

Also, A LOT of these 991.2 GT3's on the market have been sitting for over a year. Just moving from dealer to dealer. With price increases! It's a joke. It's creating false sense of demand, and quite frankly unethical. Look at all the GT3's at Hoffman Honda. This yellow one sat at University Mitsubishi for months and months got down to 176k, just to move to another dealer and sit with a higher price. Who's really buying GT3's? Enthusiasts or other dealers?

Yeah but its "only" $46K over MSRP and some people prefer a PDK. So this is the beginning of a market reset IMO and YMMV. In Jan - March this was at least pushing $290-300K+. If you look at the 991.1 and 991.2 same patterns happened.

There is no value?? Like, a 991.2 GT3 is wildly mispriced at 180k? As owners/drivers of these cars, and guys who have experienced a wide range of autos, hard to believe that's the take. That they're not currently priced in the ballpark subject to supply/demand fluctuations, macroeconomic factors.

Lots of other things have happened to affect these values which may not revert to previous prices…..EV govt mandates, EV future of Porsche, supply chain issues, sunken car transport ship.

Did you miss the part where vast majority of 991.2 GT3 "sales" are just dealer-dealer exchanges over the past year? Not real supply and demand of actual costumers. PNS has a UV 2016 GT3 RS that got all the way down to 189k, then it was listed as "sold" and immediately back on the market at $209k. This is the norm right now with GT3's, actually has been for past year. It's laughable to anyone paying attention.
