Sold my 991.2 GT3RS a couple days ago. $245k sticker. Miami Blue Wiessach package. Sold it for $245k. Had 9,600 miles. Car was full PPF and completely stock (took all the track parts off of it and sold separately). Great car and will miss it, but bring on my 992 GT3!
I am a small dealer in PA and found an interesting RS that is running through auction next week in Atlanta. For sale by Porsche USA and carries a Lemon Law title branding due to "Front end concerns - left/right hand turns there is clicking/popping sound present" according to Carfax. It is a highly optioned car with a 250k MSRP. Chalk, PCCBs, deviated stitching, FAL and WP. VIN is WP0AF2A97KS165336if anyone wants to check the Carfax or build sheet. Car has 4k miles. I am very curious to see what it pulls at auction and what another dealer (not me as I don't have the capital for more than maybe 2, 991 RS cars, haha) thinks it might be worth retail.
I wonder if the Lemon Law issues were addressed or if in this case Porsche decided to let it go through auction so they didn't have to?
Yeah, good question. I know with other manufactures (VW and Audi) they show that they are fixed. This RS does not say anything about a remedy completed by Porsche but they may announce it once the car is up for auction next week.

Agree, comedy at its finest. My old touring sold for the $270k range a short time ago, as a CPO, and is also one-off color, Navy Blau with a Cognac LTS seat package.
I think some of you don't understand the simple logic behind these dealers that start at ridiculous prices. They start at stupid, then during negotiations, they discount it to merely kinda nutty to sell it to a buyer who then thinks they negotiated a great deal. There are fools and money parted every day, and when you have pretty bait, the fish come to you, particularly in this market. There are a number of well known Porsche dealers that have been doing business this way for years. The cars don't actually sell for the ridiculous price they post, but they get more than they would otherwise get if they priced it at what the masses think is 'market'.

I disagree with this for this market in particular and really in general. As a dealer who has bought and sold several GT cars I can tell you that right now everything I am selling is going for within 1-2% of advertised price. There is always the buyer who wants to wait until what they think will be a market correction and there are buyers who want something right away. It has nothing to do with being a fool on either side of that coin. GT cars have always been good places to park money and enjoy the car in the mean time. Pre-Covid market saw these cars maybe not as dramatically over MSRP as they are now but they have generally always gone close to or at MSRP with miles. There aren’t many “great” deals on GT cars even in a down market. It’s a thin margin car for dealers in really any market and most enthusiasts that own these cars are smart people and know what they have so they aren’t fire selling their cars whether it’s to a dealer or a private sale.

Sorry, wasn't trying to get personal, just challenging his contention that he's selling his cars within 1-2% of their crazy advertised prices, which I think is highly unlikely. That would mean they just sold that Touring for $50-70k over the asking prices of the other PTS Tourings available. Seems a little far fetched to me, but who really knows.
