My first car was an 84’ 944, which sparked my love affair for the brand. I remember very long nights in the garage learning how to change timing belts on the interference engine. I dreamt about owning 911’s for decades. It’s an absolute dream come true to ‘graduate’ to the perfect spec (IMO!) GT3 in the garage 17 years later. It’s great that the car is staying in the Rennlist family - and I will be texting you plenty of updates!

Thank you again for such a smooth transaction - it’s been an awesome experience all around 🙏
JM- great meeting you this weekend and thanks for making trip out from Cali. So glad the GT3 is going to a lifelong enthusiast who will hopefully drive it the way these cars are meant to be driven- spiritedly on street and track. Happy it met your expectations and appreciate you making the transaction so straightforward- you have restored some of the faith I've lost in people reading posts on this forum and "interacting" ie sales / purchases with a variety of individuals over the years.

Please post pix when you can and best wishes!

Wow, hope he enjoys it and I hope he was able to chew some of the fat off the bone. Seems like he purchased it through a broker which is weird since he lives in LA. Why add a middle man to a transaction? He has a GT3 he bought 3 years ago (saw going through his videos). I'm surprised he isn't all up to speed on the RS and what the difference is between it and the GT3. Oh well.... I always love to see someone get excited when they are able to get something they've wanted for a long time. It's neat to share that experience. I'm genuinely happy for him and hope it is everything he wanted it to be. Thank you for sharing this video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Low 180's for a manual, 4k mile clean GT3? LOL...ok. As much as you want this market to be cooling off, it's not. Of course it will at some point, but that's 12-24 months off.

You mean the car that’s listed for $185k?

On a related note, strange how a certain reseller on here who recently claimed to be selling cars within 1-2 percent of his crazy asking prices keeps dropping the price on the two GT cars he has in the marketplace…and they still aren’t selling.

Hi all,

First post here but been lurking for quite some time now. Hoping to pick up a .2 GT3 within the next year but watching the market closely right now. Also trying to learn from all yall in regards to these beautiful machines. Question: has these 2 cars been posted on this thread? I know the mileage is much higher but it seems the .2 is quite bulletproof. These 2 specs are quite nice and the price is decent.

VIN: WP0AC2A96JS175671, 168k ask, PTS Green, 6MT, LWBS, FAL, 37k miles

VIN: WP0AC2A95JS175466, 169k ask, GT silver, 6MT, 18ways, PCCBs, FAL, 39k miles

Lol, you really think a car that's listed for 185k and hasn't sold yet as of yet is because it's priced too low? Sheer genius. And yes the market is 'cooling off', no one is saying it's crashing or even declining rapidly. There's over 80 manual GT3s for sale vs 15 when pricing was at the peak, how exactly would you characterize it? That it's heating up?

Agree. Doubt it will sell with an asking price of $185K. Just got done lurking in the 992 GT3 forum. Those cars are coming in, and they are effing gorgeous. People are shelling out ADMs, some are claiming MSRP. Actually the forum looks like what this forum was several years ago.

It's funny, from pictures I'd say the 991.2 GT3 looks much nicer but everyone who's seen the 992 GT3 in person say it looks stunning in the flesh. I had a similar experience when I say pictures of the 992 C2S vs in person, looks significantly better in person.

I know, right? I have a 991.2 GT3, so I went to the 992 GT3 forum thinking they would be ugly. I was disappointed, because they look great!

Both versions look good. I just think the 991.2 looks better, especially the front bumper.

Wonder did the dealer fix the blemishes. Look like he will drive the car rather than a garage queen. Good for him.

I would say that it's worth adding $15k to that price, even if it means waiting, and getting a car with half the miles. The cars themselves are tanks but pricing for GT3s is mileage sensitive and it doesn't look like compelling enough of a discount to make up for the fact they almost have 40k miles on it. I think you should be able to find a similar 15k mile car as the GT silver one for less than $185k if you're patient. Here's a beautiful Sapphire blue car with PCCBs, 4-ways and FAL with less than 10k miles for $193k.

Dealer would likely happily take $190k meaning a higher mileage example of the same car, say 15k, would be around$185.

Do you think the dealership would accept a low ball offer of, say, 150-155k? The green one has been sitting for a long time. That would make that difference larger and potential make it worthwhile? Especially for someone who plans to keep it long term.

It’s just so hard to understand market right now.
