Miami Blue manual .2 GT3 with 4400 miles on Pcarmarket. PCCB, buckets, FAL, LED’s, full leather, full PPF, and BBI center muffler bypass. $185k original MSRP.
Miami Blue really works nicely on the GT3... Gorgeous car.
Carwow did a drag race with a 991.2 RS and 992 GT3. It was pretty much a dead heat. At higher speeds the 992 crawled away slightly due to aero. While there are significant other changes between the two generations in terms of suspension, aero, and body, it's pretty clear that engine-wise, this has been the smallest change between generations and even sub-generations (ie 997.1 vs 997.2 etc).
Yes, but your post had estimates for performance. Go check my link and see the difference with actual test numbers for the 992 gt3.
Makes sense thx ……will be interesting can many actually tell the difference. My speedster has the same engine and albeit the car is heavier, the 991 engine sounds better at high rev and I say it’s PTF. Doesn’t bother me as I love the GT cars period, but they’ve just run out of room to tell a material difference in my opinion. I actually preferred my 2016 RS per the 2019 it was more raw and nasty.
In case anyone is curious, here are the data sheets with performance figures conducted by Car and Driver. All 991 GT3/RS’ and 992 GT3 are PDK, but 991.2 GT3 RS and 992 GT3 are on Cup 2R’s. 991.2 GT3 is on newer generation Cup tires than 991.1 GT3/RS.
