I think it’s original owner owned it in Utah then it was probably sold to Ilusso which Carfax mistakenly counted as the second owner. The third owner (really second owner) just sold it on BAT and also lived in Walnut Creek. Sometimes Carfax screws up the number of owners that have actually owned a car. They added an extra owner on my 997.2 RS even though it was dealer owned.

19 RS WP on BAT with only 140 miles. What a shame that this car hasn't been driven.

sad to see that our fellow rennlister sold his car to a dealership...who promptly marked it up about $30k or more

In all fairness to the Rennlister he may not have even known it was a dealer buying it. They bought my 997.2 GTS for asking price and I took a deposit not knowing who it was.

Looked at this car 2-3 months ago, for sale at a local truck dealer at the time. They were asking $199K, wouldn't budge. Traded it to this dealership. They were asking 215K, now 196K. When I looked at the car it was in good shape, besides the PPF, poorly done.

Many didn’t believe winter is coming and inventory piling up. Those that paid crazy prices as dealers wanted to flip are stuck. 992’s will start arriving and more 991’s will be on trade, and more to the pile will be a buyers market.

Yup look at the auction pricing dropping, and not pay attention to asking prices at dealers. Seen the movie before, and know it’s a chip issue. When the new cars come people want the new toy, lots more cars coming to market. Two months ago you couldn’t find 5 manuals GT3’s for sale, go look how many are there. I may be a fool for not taking 425k for my PTS Speedster, but I like the car and the iron is hot now …oh well.
