I miss my .1 RS way more than my .2 RS. The .1 just felt more higher quality in every way and drove way more smother.
If anyone wants to trade me their .2 RS for my .1 RS based off of these sentiments just let me know ha!
Joking aside, I have heard this same thought process from several owners of both the .1 and the .2. I don't have enough seat time in a .2 RS to weigh in.
I feel compelled to answer this, though I agree, off topic.

yes, I have had other gt3 (and RS) before but had never specced one out and gone through that process. Frankly, I thought I would drive it. I am a member of a track club and got so far as owning a race car, but ultimately I lost my nerve at the track so never got to take this one. So my withdrawal is based not only on the car, but the whole opportunity as my life has changed. But, I certainly know what it is capable of even if I didn’t finish breaking this one in!
so, now I have a bunch of old cars that I don’t have to drive nearly as fast to get a thrill out of them, and this one didn’t fit the bill + it has a (lack of) mileage premium that would go away if I did happen to drive it more regularly.
much more detail than you perhaps wanted, but you called me out….

Not sure if regular GT3 prices are coming down as my dealer friend offered me a .2 GT3 with 175k MSRP in Chalk for $172K yesterday if I wanted it, i declined as his thoughts were that the market is coming down.

Depending on options would your dealer friendly extend the offer to others?
Car was sold and it was a manual, i just texted him.
More coming over the auction blocks all similarly priced he thinks and market is definitely going to drop. Dealers are now afraid to hold inventory on 911's due to 992 deliverie,s and quite a few seem to be moving away from them.
there were no 911 Gt3's previously at auction, so that says alot
No idea which auctions and where although i will ask which auction the .2 RS which sold last week weissach pack went through at. I heard it was sub 220k.
I chatted with them about this car. Seems like a fantastic example. One owner who apparently bought it via a charity auction. Fully PPFd and no track time. I am not 100% ready to buy or I would likely be jumping on this one.
Do you know why CarFax listed it as Corporate vehicle.
I need to go down there to see it.
