I need to go down there to see it.
Car shows as registered in MT. I'd say it's highly likely it was held in an LLC. This is a common way people avoid paying state sales tax.

What are your thoughts on this one? Its close to me and CPO which is important as I would be trading in my 911T.

looks like the the twin brother of the one I traded in ...beautiful color!

This one looks very nice. Attractive price, has all the major options, is finished in the IMO special color to get for the .1 RS of Ultraviolet, and it is even CPO’d. Only negative I see with this car is the GT Silver Microfiber inserts and accents which are not as desirable as the black Alcantara ones, but these can be replaced I guess. But overall, very nice example.

You couldn't have said it better, the RS is a much better value compared to the .2 GT3. I owned a .2GT3 for 2 months (PDK) and could not wait to get out of it...I bet the manual is much better but when it comes to PDK the .1RS is a far more superior driving experience

^^^^^ That color is so sharp. It will be interesting to see where this one ends up!

No FAL is an awfully brave choice if you're speccing the car new.

Yup, the non-driving owners of these incredible builds will bemoan the lack of FAL every time they polish it.... Much harder to wax the front splitter without it.

May be missing something here, but the bidding seemed light for this car. Low miles at 2,700, high spec with a good color and only reached $177k. Not a great deal of photos and nothing of the underside.

I didn't follow it closely, but glanced at the results as I always do out of curiousity. My theory on the low bids was the back to back GT3s that BAT has been listing. If you lose the bidding war on one, just wait a few hours... they will likely post another one the same day or the next... If there has been some scarcity then the first listing gets good action. Second one might as well if the loser on the first really wants one. By the 5th or 6th one of the month people may as well just hop on Autotrader and find the one they want.

i think the accelerated price appreciation wave has peaked. seeing more and more price cuts on the inventory emails i get. question becomes will pricing fall back to where it was before or stabilize at a higher level...

What's also going on is more of a bid/ask spread. Out of the last five auctions on BAT and PCAR for 991.2 GT3 only two have hit reserve,

There could certainly be some of that as well, but a similar GT3 in black went for $32,500 more just the day before this one closed. Granted the black one only had 56 miles on it compared to this one's 2,700, but that's still a pretty big spread just over a few thousand miles.

Was out lapping with a Signal Yellow GT3 last week, absolutely stunning color. Pictures do not do it justice...
