Succeeded installing the sprint booster for faster throttle response in the Boxa S. I'll tell you old guys right now.
Don't try this without a bottle of Aspirin nearby. That footwell is a torture box. You have to be a Hudini to get in and out of there without a scratch
Started it up, no trouble lights
Can't wait to go for a drive tonight.

Pulled the left headlight to install amber LED turn signals to match the side markers. Found that the SBL LED replacement unit doesn’t fit... So I put it all back together and commenced drinking some Marzens.

Sounds like a good recovery system anyway

took the boxa S out for a short little drive to test out the Sprint Booster mod. I have to say I am impressed with the response.
Between the DSC PASM mod and this throttle response mod... this car drives like I expected it would from the factory and more.
Afterthought = it would be better if the throttle had a little exposition programmed into it. Tis would allow you to maneuver around parking situations and traffic stops easier yet still have that race ready response once on the road.

  • Oil and filter - Amsoil 5W40 plus factory filter, crush washer, o-ring
  • Flush brakes - Pentosin Super DOT 4, Motive Power Bleeder, Foxwell to cycle ABS/PSM
  • Installed Pedro’s Technobrace rear suspension brace
  • Remove summer tires - 19” PS4’s
  • Mount winter set - 18” Sottezero’s

Just need a nice day to treat the top, clean all drains, and maybe a last waxing before the brrrr ❄️🥶 sets in here.

Used liftbars again. Like these a lot. Very safe alternative to a full hydraulic lift.

Today I shaved an extra bit of weight off the spyder.

before:
After:

I wanted this from when I bought her in 2015. Finally found the correct sticker and installed it today.

extra 5 gram in weight savings. Porsche should have done this when manufacturing the car.

Great pictures. You rival our scenery on the North Oregon coast. Those roads are intriguing.

The Dragon has pull-offs every mile or so to let faster traffic pass by.

Looks good! I picked up my 987 Spyder with a completely de-badged rear deck. Care to provide the centering measurements for the "Spyder" emblem? I have nothing to work from. TIA

Awesome job!! Can you shoot me details on the head unit installation? Been wanting to do this for my wife's '05 987.1 Boxster.
