It's pretty easy to get through the opening, just go slow, bend the material gently and should be no problem. Like Van Larson says, the Radiator Grille Store version is easy to do, comes with the zip-ties in place. Has 3 from the vendor, could add a 4th on your own if you wanted, before sliding into the opening.

@Robert Nixon. Installed radiator grilles about 2 months ago and honestly has been one of the best cheap mods I’ve made. Should’ve come like this from factory.

ekam,
I sent them an email and told them about The Radiator Grille Store, since their C8 article linked to some other company too.

My finished version shows the zip-ties still loose, just have to tighten and trim. Also posted about this on my blog: www.nms-racing.net
1: Leaves cleaned out

2: Cover loosely installed

3: Pre-installation on passenger side

4: Leaves and etc from normal driving

Nothing too exciting. Pic from Oil Change last Fall before storage, Rennline phone mount just installed, and a strip tease. lol. Longing for Spring.

My first experience with this kind of mount so that's good to know. Looking at a new iPhone 12 and hope the magnets will be compatible, even if I can't use the MagSafe charger. More concerned with the phone staying put in the twistys than being able to charge it while mounted. Maybe the blue color on the 12 Mini or Pro will compliment the aqua blue interior bits.

These came from Lithuania have been looking for some center caps for my Apex wheels and these were reasonably priced. There appears to be the same ones that are being sold on eBay for $180 per set these were 56 shipped from Etsy Attachment 1320147
