dayum! I'm sitting here looking at my '64 right now...and I"m coming up with ways on how can I put the most miles I possibly can on it before someone buys it from me. not.
I think it is a molested car with tinted lights, rs door panels, 993 wheels, silver script, clear lights, and a buy it now price in the range of where the crazy market is. If I bought it would go back to stock and get it really cheap.
It appears to be a nice car but without further information regarding its maintenance history, paint originality, and other items, it is hard to tell. The pictures only give you part of the story and can be deceiving, you need to know about the bones of the car (mechanicals, body, suspension, etc...) rather than the froo-froo and pointless adjectives the seller is throwing around.
I currently own an '07 997 C2S and previously had a GT2/3 clone '02 996. This 964 is my first air-cooled 911. I'm hanging on to my '07 but figured if I was ever going to jump into a 964 this was a great example and decent timing before price appreciation gets too nutty.
Since the web write up, the car had carbon fiber/alcantara seats by Statos installed along with a Momo steering wheel and shift ****. The stock seats came with the car and are in excellent shape. Ditto for the stock steering wheel and shift ****.
Looking forward to learning more about these cars from all of you.
That car looks immaculate! Congrats on the purchase.
