'91 Turbo - $62K lives down the street from me (I don't know him or the car):

High miles, seems probably fairly priced...

Hot darn. Car has 150K miles - shows there's broad support for the crazy prices people are paying for our cars now outside of the collectors garage queens. Good news, going to drink a beer to that one. And maybe find this guy to ask if I could take his car out for a spin.

Since Rey Gunn and 964Carrera4 commented about this car recently, I thought I'd introduce myself as the new owner of the 1990 C2 featured in the write up at http://www.stanceiseverything.com/20...f-tunings-964/
I currently own an '07 997 C2S and previously had a GT2/3 clone '02 996. This 964 is my first air-cooled 911. I'm hanging on to my '07 but figured if I was ever going to jump into a 964 this was a great example and decent timing before price appreciation gets too nutty.
Since the web write up, the car had carbon fiber/alcantara seats by Statos installed along with a Momo steering wheel and shift ****. The stock seats came with the car and are in excellent shape. Ditto for the stock steering wheel and shift ****.
Looking forward to learning more about these cars from all of you.

It was great meeting you last weekend and I'm amazed that you got a car already.

That 964 is worth every penny. Congrats tiderace. I hear you about justifying the price of these older cars!
If anyone needs a Rennfax on the red cab in Victoria let me know. It's local to me. Price is high but is also a very low milage car.

Considering what 964 prices are doing nowadays, if the car was as described, and was really gone through and rebuilt by Pfaff as described, then you got a good value on that deal. There are plenty of 964s for sale right now asking that kind of money, and they haven't had nearly as much work or money put into them.
