Lastly, consider what else you could buy for similar money (996 GT3 for example with much lower mileage).

I'd jump on that turbo. Has some nice upgrades (Andial twin-plug), but as mmporsche says the quality of the work is key.
Get a PPI booked (Pacific Power, Stead, etc) and check it out.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a 964 cab with tiptronic (for my wife) in the Connecticut area. Any color except black. If anyone has any leads or is looking to sell their car, please pm me! Thanks!

IMO no. Especially if you're in Canada.

They sell almost that price in the US and you have 10-12% exchange rate, taxes and duties.. That's like 30% more.

Edit: its a tiptronic.. So no I don't think its worth as much.

It's a manual... but has two tone blue and white interior. White leather gauge surrounds too. Strange combination. Recently saw a 993 TT (US model) with two tone.

I don't dig the blue but I like the light gray.

So in manual I think the price is good in CAD

Thanks MMPORSCHE & KEN!
I plan to take your advice and take a closer look at a 996 GT3... and stick with normally aspirated 964 - maybe I'll luck into a RSA in that price range.

90 C2, manual coupe, guards red on black, 106k miles. $26,500 CDN. Located in Canada imported from the US. This was a fantastic deal posted Friday and already sold by Saturday. Semi local to me in BC. I tried to buy it but a US buyer had a deposit on it very quickly. Within 8 hours there were a number of people ahead of me in line. Sold within 24hours.

I sent an email Friday afternoon. Apparently I'm on the wait list if the deal falls through.
