No need to discuss as the buyer bought the builder/tuner the car was secondary. Same as in real estate your not buying the house per se its the location

The 9M car was well bought. I thought the color would keep it from getting as high as it did. I'm happy the value was realized.
On the other hand, this is one of the most misplaced comments I've seen on RL in a while. I've got news for you sir, the entire point of this thread is to speculate, and nothing Cobalt said was incorrect. The final sentence was the icing on the ignorance cake.
Get over the “high miles” argument. You haven’t seen the car in person, so your opinions are purely speculative, unfounded, and frankly comical. Any vintage car that is intended to be DRIVEN requires meticulous maintenance and upkeep. This car went one step further to fully dial it in and upgrade beyond RS specs with the added benefits of AWD. It’s trolls like you that kill the market. You would benefit the entire community by keeping your biased opinions to yourself and practicing how to heel toe, assuming you even drive your car.

I went through a couple of edits on my thoughts about that recent troll post... but your comment is all that needs to be said and much kinder than my draft.

Are you familiar with NineMeister aka 9M? When they say RS spec, it isn't because they put some brake ducts on a C4 and called it a day. Granted the car looked to be built to a Touring trim RS spec, it's definitely not thrown around loosely to refer to a 9m64RS as an"RS Spec" build.
Please visit the 9M Rennlist user profile, click on "threads started by..." and look at the completeness of their down to the bare tub, acid dipped, and rebuilt from the ground up builds.

FYI this showed up just now.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...ory-wide-body/
I got all excited until I read the paint readings? I have looked at and metered many low mile original paint 964's and these numbers don't add up. I am thinking it might have been wet sanded and new clear added. The only thing I can think of when I see numbers like that.
Nice car but how will this impact the sale and will people care or notice?

Wow unreal low miles.
it looks like the area at the bottom of the windshield was repainted (meter readings 11/12) likely for rust repairs. Maybe it sat outside for a long time and the clear coat broke down, would explain things, maybe?

The early black base clear cars had clear issues although this car is metallic it might have suffered from the same issue and was re cleared. Those numbers are just too high in some areas and average in others. .

The rings around the gauges seem dried out.

The rubber does that I wouldn't be concerned. Wipe it clean with a rag. It is a gorgeous example. Great color combo. I do recall of two other midnight blue 94's that had clear issues and had full resprays done with very low miles. I don't think it should hurt the value of this but doubt it left the factory that way. No pictures of the door jams so that could tell a lot. The lower half of the car does look original it appears to be top side mostly. If the right two people bid this might see some crazy money.

i'm sorry, and it is just one's opining, but
that does not look like factory paint, not to mention whats going on with other parts of the car...

But there’s no doubt it is a 9k mile garage queen based upon the undercarriage, engine and interior.
