Not a surprising ask for a C2 manual coupe.

A few summers back my mechanic told me "they'll be 100k cars soon". Sounded optimistic but looks like he maybe he might have been right..

I didn’t mean to imply anything about the price. I seriously need to increase my value. My current value is $30k below the market.

I just increased mine and like you is still below. Of course, mine is only a C4 and 200k+ miles so I don't think it would get near the top value we've seen as of late.

I have a well sorted 1990 C2 coming available. It has 104k miles with a top end at 96k. No damage history. AC blows cold (completely rebuild Griffith system). Has had a respray. I have spent the money getting correct - records galore. About as good of a guilt free driver as you can find. I am selling bc I now have a mistress I like a little better (1994 C4 Turbo Look)

I hope an enthusiast got this and we don’t see it being flipped a week from now. Kinda wish I had seen it yesterday.

it’ll get flipped. Based on the sellers description it needs another 30k at least to be dialed in properly. Someone will put some lipstick on it. I wouldn’t touch that thing with a 10’ pole.

^^^The seller seems like a thoroughly decent chap, he has several offers way over asking. The car has been maintained by well known local Porsche shops, is a great color combo, no major accidents or rust; the high miles mean you can fix it up mechanically and drive it with a clean conscience. But it will take $30k and given the loonies out there waving cash at a price that makes it hard to want to take on.
