Say what you want after this, because this is my last response. If I were to write "She was milking a cowl" you say that is a grammatical mistake because the misspelled word happens to be a valid other word. The intended word was grammatically correct, but it was the spelling that was wrong. If I wrote "She was milking a coww" the intended work is still grammatically sound, but the spelling is also wrong. No difference. Both grammatically correct. Both with misspelled words. One just happens to coincidentally have meaning and the other does not.

Wordsmith, you are not.

These guys have a couple 964s for sale that seem to be in good shape from the descriptions. Interesting though that the C4 has a complete rebuild at only 30k miles...awesome interior on the white C2

agree the market isn’t there anymore, but people are still paying top dollar for good, unique and clean low mile cars. With the interior, low miles and factory dif someone might come close to that number.

any idea what a well-sorted, low mileage(~30k) 92 guards red turbo would range in current market? Just need a ballpark...

I watch that market closely (obviously). You'll get more responses if you ask that question over in the Turbo sub-forum. This one hasn't been used in a while,.. resurrect: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-turb...-turbo-12.html

... although I will say I have not seen very many 30k mile 3.3 Turbo's. Most that have popped up for sale in the past few years are 50k miles or higher. Years & years ago, most P-guys that wanted a "lower" mileage 964 Turbo to sit on, picked up '94 3.6's,... so if you find a real 30k mile collectible GR 3.3,... you will probably still pay over-market. My opinion is that you'll also need more data points (besides just GR ~ 30k miles) if you want to narrow down the $$ range estimates (condition, maint, private-sale -vs- dealer, etc etc).
If I had to give a range,... on a 30k 3.3 collector it could be anywhere from $100k to $150k in the US. Asking prices are all over the place too.

Also depends on where in the world you are. Quantities are limited...
US in '91 = 580.
Canada '91 = 33.

US '92 = 233
Canada '92 = 15

so total of 861 in all North America for both years. Colbalt can also narrow that down by giving approximates that have already been wrecked, etc. So very few out there.

Thanks @bweSteve . Private sale, US-based (southwest). Will be chasing down additional details in the next few days. Guy wants 139k for it which is, as expected at the high end of what you describe. Totally missed that there is a separate turbo forum, i'll move it over there.

There are a number of Midnight blue C4 wide-bodies made most I have seen have Gray interior. I know of two with tan interior that had been wrecked and pieced back together. The workmanship was top notch and most would be hard pressed to tell anything was wrong but if you look for the right parts for the MY you will se some to be incorrect which would give it away. Not saying this is one but for 75k miles that is a lot for a C4 so I would suspect the price is reasonable assuming the engine work is good and car is as represented.

Not sure what boat sailed. There are still cars trading hands for stupid money maybe not publicly but the demand for a nice low mile 964 is still high. I find people are becoming more specific about miles, color and condition so they will hold out until the car they are looking for pops up. If it does they pounce at any price so long as it is a needs nothing or little car. Most of teh cars I see selling in the $50-60k range are needing between $20 and $30k of work so I don't see why $80's is unreasonable assuming if it is a needs nothing car.

Thanks Cobalt, I seem to remember someone wanting to sell two of these at the same time a while back. I thought one was silver and the other blue. Both had issues and were sold at a low price. I was wondering if this was one of those cars.
