Can you sat fluff piece? Wonder how much BaT paid for this advertizing, err I mean article.

That engaged audience is neither random nor unintelligent about the cars for sale. In other words, these aren’t people with too much time on their hands. They are seasoned owners, buyers, dealers, mechanics and loyalists who have come to realize that BaT is a site of such authenticity, transparency and well, geeky attention to detail that they will take their time to weigh in and ensure the record is honest and straight.

HA HA HA HA HA HA!! I didn't realize LA Times had a comedy section.

It's garbage like this that will lead to many many more people getting absolutely ripped off by these charlatans.

WOW.
I could go on and on ripping that article to pieces. The quotes are joke. Randy’s reason for not selling...cause he’s making money hand over fist...why sell that? They certainly have a good PR company...but everyone knows the LA Times Life as Style section is all pay to play. And they must have paid a boatload for this turd.

275 auctions a week, $30K average, 76% sell rate and 5% commission = $313K buyer's fees.
Then 275 X $99 for the flat fee = another $27K
Then add in the extra "marketing packages" and it's a nice $400K a week.

Not bad, not bad at all.

As a businessman, my hats off to him. As a car enthusiast, he can suck a big one. 😂

I take a look back into this thread every couple weeks and every time it's the same thing; Lorenzoh's semantical bickering responses to every other post and the other 50% ripping the most popular sales platforms by restating what should be absolutely obvious to anyone buying a 30 year old car... If we ever get back to discussing actual cars I'll resume contributions. Until then, enjoy gentleman.

my responses are just stating facts. Sorry if that upsets you...And I’m not the only person ripping “the most popular sales platform “ lol. What a joke...🙄

This one might’ve been posted before. Looks okay, but no engine compartment photos. The deck lid isn’t aligned properly, same with the frunk. Aftermarket speakers and the interior looks kind of rough. The smile needs to be straightened and there are some blemishes that look like they’re through the paint.

I agree. Although it is a low mile 92 and the matador red interior over white is far nicer in person than the pictures show. I have a friend with a turbo in the same combo. Looks as though they had a dog or something did some damage. That would be a hard color to touch up. If that is the cleanest 964 they have ever seen it makes me wonder. I also find it funny that the monthly payment if financed is $964/month.

I know this is a 993 however it is a unique car since it is one of 14 turbo cabs built featuring the wheels and engine from a 94 964 turbo 3.6 and the tail of a 94 turbo S. So it has some 964 in its bloodline. Figured some would find it interesting and IMO as far as 993's go one of the better looking.

Something not quite right about these 2, the seats are wrong on the blue car and the carpets in the rear of the pink one look abused compared to the seats.

for that money, karminrot, which i must say doesn't seem like karminrot, anyway, you would think they could have replaced the rear lights and bar...! and kinda used up interior for only 54k miles...but as they say...

There are a bunch of things about these that throw up flags. These seem typical RMC cars that they pick up in rough condition and spruce up. The Karminrot car doesn't even have its original carpets under the floor mats and something not quite right about the gaps wrong center bumper section for the year. I suspect both cars have had full respray. If you consider one of these without a proper PPI I suspect you will regret it.

Most all their cars are Japanese imports.
