I disagree. A good rsa is an awesome car. The manual rack is fantastic and itself significantly differentiates the car from a c2...And the seats are so comfortable. IMO a rsa is not that far off a euro Rs. If a good one can be had anywhere near the numbers being discussed IMO it is a no brainer and one of the few bargains currently in the Porsche world.
but i dont know how much driving you did in a RS, they are totally different than RSA.

Very much like when people fix their home to put it on the market to entice buyers.
I see a lot of cars get full paint refresh and engine builds just to sell. Usually a flipper who picked up the car cheap needing a lot of work and have access to these services at wholesale cost. I don't know what was paid for the top end refresh but many shops inflate the price and the average buyer only knows it costs a lot. How many people think a top end is a $15k min expense when I can have a full engine rebuild done for far less than half using ARP bolts and reworking the heads and valves that assuming it isn't in need of excessive machining work which is usually the case. If good reconditioned parts are used as many are available from singer builds than it can be rather inexpensive and add far more value to the car and interest from perspective buyers.
