Thanks everyone on the input on the RSA. Market pricing has been all over the place on these in the past few years. I felt starting on the higher end of the market pricing based on availability in the market right now was the better thing to do at this time.
I don't agree with the comment about being $30k overpriced, that would be giving this car away which as another commenter said patience usually pays off in the long run. But it's really all speculation at the end of the day.

I know BAT brings top $ but here's a comp. Keep in mind this car had a accident on the Carfax and a roof.

This car is owned by a friend of mine and offered by another friend. Owner is a 60 year PCA member and prior PCA national president who literally started DE and Club racing as we know it.
A visually stunning example well cared for car. I don't know all of its particulars other than it looks great and has won some concours events.

Pretty nice car and fair price on your friends RSA. You rarely see them these days with those miles sub 100K.
Dealer should install original sport seats and remove the harness bar./windshield logo. Too bad car wasn't ordered with AC and Sunroof Delete !

That's a pretty fair price for what appears to be a very nice car. Correct me if I am wrong and please understand its not a knock, but I believe they have had this car for sale there for quite some time? IIRC it was priced a lot higher last year. If someone is looking for a well sorted track oriented RSA that car looks like a gem and at an attractive price.

should sell reasonably quick. i had a black/black/3 option '93 that i sold for an unspeakable amount (low) many years ago. amazing what they have done in value, considering how everyone used to poo-poo them for being 'nothing special at all'.

If this indeed was a tracked car and depending on the extent of interior and chassis modification then mileage should have no serious bearing on it's value. I've seen sub 20k cars that should have complete engine rebuilds and suspension overhauls no matter how nice they were cosmetically. We're talking a track modified example versus a near stock example (the biggest modification of which is an aftermarket LSD which was a factory option anyhow). If anything this car is sounding more like a $65-$75k example from what I've seen sell in the past few years.

rsabeebe, I sold my 93 back in I think 2000 for what's now a silly low price. Even if I had not put even 1 single more mile on it and sold it at the top of the market a couple years ago it still would not have been a good investment. Sure it would be worth a lot more than I sold it for, but that same cash in an S&P500 fund would have done much much better.

this car sold for 96k before commission. 3.8L build 70k+ miles and partial respray. Wow!
What’s the market for a 1992-1994 bone stock c2 with lower miles now? are we hitting that 100k mark yet?

IMHO Absolutely.
Then again it’s being seen across the board on all coveted Porsche’s. The economy is doing well and people are less afraid to plunk down big bucks on a toy. I’m sure with the next recession we will see a price reduction on all Porsche models but I don’t anticipate that it will be drastic for older models (997 and earlier).
