If I could go back to 2012 I would not be buying Porsche's. Sure the returns been nice but there are a few stocks I'd prefer to have at 2012 prices over the cars.

Selling the car in Calif, registered in Maine, spent time in Canada. Issues with the heater, issues with the idle, "aggressive" clutch, no AC, clutch and idle causes engine to shut off, paint work, windshield issues, issue with the seat, warped dash, cracked glass in a gauge, lots of things that scream ex track car, etc etc. I like the car too but its a bundle of parts and builds that all sort of work together and its got some issues that are not minor which need to be sorted.
I guess "decent mula" is a relative term. I like the car too but I'd be weary about smogging it in CA, wondering about an "open title" since the cars got ME reg and its in Cali, plus all the money it will take to sort it, makes me think its not going too high.

1 US Dollar = .98 CAD
Still a nice return if it fetches 60k (or more).
Almost doubling money (except for maintenance) and getting to enjoy it during those 6 years in a way that you can't when money is in an account.
I'm with you on some stocks like Amazon, Google and Apple!
