Yep. You might also consider dropping the strut out of the way for even more space. The M14 on the bottom may be a bit of a challenge if it hasn't moved in a while but with the air filter out, the top is pretty accessible. Part of the forward tin can also be removed too but I don't think it will give any better access to the pump. Don't lose sleep on this one as the access looks plenty - my only concern when I come to do this is countering the nut; the Porsche tool is pretty pricey but there do seem to be plenty of alternatives.

I'm still loving your fantastically illustrated thread btw - none of my reference books come close to demonstrating the pertinent parts of any job as well as your journal. Long may it continue.

Kev, great to see you are keeping busy in the garage! The 964 is looking great, you wont want to drive it in the wet soon.

wow - so well done, awesome thread, great pics, nice vids and so clearly explained i'm kidding myself I could change my engine mounts myself I might just start with the OCD polishing of the wheel arches lol.

How did you do at the concourse? Adding to the trophy shelf in your garage?

wrt to the idea of chapter-ising the thread (I must say it deserves to be preserved as one of the best reading build threads I've seen) ...
maybe just edit your first thread to show the topics and the post/page number. It would be even neater to link to each page which you can do by rt mousing on the page navigation numbers and then pasting that link. But the thread reads well like it is - I just read it start to fin for 4 hrs! - and you'd really only do something like this ie contents, llnking etc.. if you were severely OCD. ..... hmmm

Got a nice package today

Yokohama has had a cool contest for the past couple of years, whereby anyone who buys Neova tyres, enters a competition where you submit your trackday laptimes during the year.

The 964 won a nice plaque, the competition was a gentleman in a C63
