Question for the experts: using the RSA listed below for my question. Should there be a barcode sticker on the rear bumper where the rear license plate mounts?.

What do you all think about this car as far as pricing? With 5 owners and a ‘minor accident’ history?
[/QUOTE]
I think their asking price is probably pretty close to market. That’s the range I was expecting for the mileage, condition, and spec. It’s hard to say what’s “market” when the sample size is so small. I don’t think # of owners really matters if the car’s story is intact across ownership and you’ve got decent records. Depends on how minor the accident was as well. A parking lot scenario shouldn’t impact value much unless you’re in collector / garage queen territory.
The last 2 BaT RSA auctions were weirdly low. Both ~120, but one had 2X mileage of the other, and the other an accident. Both also Guards Red, so who knows if that hurts. But then you go back to spring / summer, and you’re around ~170. Anecdotally, I sold a midnight blue, non-sunroof fully sorted with great history but 130K miles for more than current PCar seller wants this summer.

Technically no. Only the 89 and 94 MY cars had them although we see them on some early 90 and later 93 builds. Some of the 94's were 718 coded but if sold as a 94 had to have them.

^^Thank you^^,
I was looking at a 94 RSA and noticed the sticker was missing on the rear bumper.

If it was a 94 there would be three stickers. Each section of the bumper gets a sticker the middle section is in the center under the plate. there are two on each side piece but difficult to see. Most likely the bumper was painted and they removed the sticker or replaced.
I am not sure if the TSB attached but it explains everything. Odds are that no replacement markings will be found I rarely but occasionally do see them. Also placement can vary from car to car although most are as indicated I have seen some that were original but placed incorrectly.

This aligns with what I have on my 94 speedster. Wasn't sure if an RSA was the same.
Garage find black ‘93 RSA. All 4 options, 5k miles, and 1-owner. It’s been sitting for a very long time. Definitely needs some attention and work to put right. Still on original tires! Price is $195k OBO.

Amazing find...if true. I would hope anyone thinking of sending money to "hold" this car would proceed with extreme caution as this is a brand new member and the first comment was also from a brand new member.
They need to step it up with the pictures for that kind of money. Out of so many pictures you really need to make an effort to believe it's a nice car...maybe 2-3 pics look interesting in a good way and way more pics look interesting in bad ways.
Edit - I take that back, I see quite a few promising pics there.

Noticed that it was a new user after my post. Carfax I pulled up indicates it was registered in the town of the listing since new. I would not send any or at least any significant amount of money you aren’t prepared to lose until this deal can be confirmed as real. Could be up to a $250k car although needs tens of thousands in detailing and maintenance. Possibly some mold on various parts of the car. Last recorded service according to Carfax was from 2008. Honestly wouldn’t put as high of a value on a car that has been abandoned versus one that was always cherished and maintained even if it did have a bit more miles.

Tough car to price but I agree, whoever buys this will be 250k deep. Having sat that long I'm sure so much of the original trim and anything rubber shouldn't be trusted. Engine reseal at a minimum.
I'm actually surprised the mechanic drove it on those tires and said it was great with only minor flat spots.

Always a lot to talk about when a car like this pops up.
My first thought was that if a Porsche mechanic of 40 years has it in their hands, it would already be sold to one of many contacts if the asking wasn't too muich.
The buyer of this car isn't concerned about the needs of the car just the low miles and its originality. Although Becker is down the road from me and AFAIK they don't repair the alpine head units. The garage doesn't appear to be climate controlled so that will make a big difference in its needs. Why was the car parked for so long?
