Tarek has a nice looking 1990 C2 with engine and clutchrebuilt for under (barely) 100k. I haven’t looked that close but it seems like a good price and his cars are usually pretty good.

The list of 964s on BaT right now is pretty impressive!

I keep forgetting I need to up my insurance for my '93 C2 which is at $45K. I think it should be at least $60++

insurance (agreed value) is something for each owner to decide, but depending on your mileage even $60k is on the low side especially for a '93. i have a low mileage example and i'm at $120k on my C2. i know it's worse case scenario stuff, but i'd hate to lose $60k in value if it were totaled tomorrow.

Interesting, but if you just had regular insurance that pays out at ACV you'd be better off than some of these older stated or agreed value policies that aren't kept up. Plus less increase for premiums as the value is not set up front. But you may have to fight a little if the unfortunate does arise.

I predict it’s not gonna meet reserve. Seller has $600k+ invested in it. Bet the reserve is $650k or $700k.

Not suprised it didn’t sell. I don’t think BaT is the right platform for this car or any online auction site. Would fetch more if sold privately or at a large high end in person auction house (Gooding and Company, RM, Bonhams, etc.) despite the hefty fees they charge. These relatively unknown rare cars tend to fare better if sold these ways.
