Beautiful but I still won't drive a caged car on the street.
I see they still have the sets of RSR speedlines for sale. Last I heard a set sold for $53k wonder if they raised their pricing? Also I see they added a set of magnesium Cup I's.

I will. The cars are so old and small compared to todays 9/10 giant SUVs and trucks on the road...not to mention crash standards in general with very first gen airbags...There isn't a lot to convince me the cars are that safe to drive in todays world. A cage adds different concerns and I've preached the same but...it's just one more thing among many and I think I'm OK with it now
I have a completely different reason for not wanting a full cage in a street car - getting too hard to crawl over them and wife would never want to drive it or drive in it

Don’t blame you. Many risks with driving around in a caged car on the street. Don’t want your head to make contact with the bars and also no three point seat belts in these cars. Have the choice of doing up shoulder and lap belts or just lap belts. Neither is safe for street use. Assume the person who buys this car is buying it to collect not to drive.
Crazy they have two sets. They’ve been for sale a while like most of the parts listed on their site. Inquired about a set of 964 RS Recaro seats almost 3 years ago when I bought my Cup and price was $27k. Decided to pass and just kept the original standard seats in the car. The seats are still for sale.
Cage on the street if it's padded well is fine, harnesses are nice to keep you from moving. I have just door bars on mine cause the doors are fiberglass with no crash bars.

I have lost several friends who felt the same way. Please be careful.
I feel like C+B isn't the best venue for that car. Predict RNM.
I would agree that this feels more like a BAT car than a C&B car, but most enthusiasts are likely checking all forums. We all know that the hardcore folks are checking BAT more than any other auction sites.
2 years ago I would have said this was a $200k car. it will be interesting where this winds up now. 175?
Beautiful, but it's a pity about the rear wiper and the sunoof.
Lots of ?? about this one. Can someone explain why this car has 2 US spec vin stickers on either door jamb? It also appears to be the sticker used on the 1992 MY cars on and not the standard long gray sticker used on US 90-91 cars but I don't expect to see them on the car as a German vehicle. I don't see pictures of the proper German vin plate in the frunk posted? The car appears to be a full respray. Many small bits of hardware are missing including the screws that hold the door lock covers in place on either side. Airbag steering wheel and non airbag passenger side? I know for the RoW market the airbags were optional in 91 but was the car doesn't have the option code for drivers airbag 561???
