You’re right. Didn’t see that. Those CS Sportsters are probably what I’d put in mine for harnesses if I didn’t do RS replicas.

Considering the ~175 this one got today, the black car is a great price for the work invested.

I suppose this is the right place given the impact on prices.

I was talking to Mike @ Autobahn (who remains a great guy) about a new interior for my 964 cab (linen is just not worth it in any sense of the word) and he mentioned that they are now receiving parts from 4 donor cars a week from Singer alone. So, for the math majors among us that means they are taking over 200 (mostly) coupes a year. With total build numbers being as low as they are, it's no wonder that the clean C2s coupes are going for the crazy prices they are. I didn't realize it was that bad...

I can't believe that many people are commissioning cars, so what are they doing? Just hoarding for the future?

Singer has a large stock pile of 964’s some they have been sitting on awhile. Here is some of the cars they’ve done that have sold publicly and what used to look like before. First photo is the car what it looked like before then after it has been “reimagined”. The video is one of their many stock piles. Most seem to be earlier cars between ‘89-‘91.

I'm probably the beater of this dead hoarse more than anyone but I have been saying this since the beginning but these aren't bad examples but some very nice cars they are chopping up. I prefer the before myself.

Sad to see so many fine examples gone. There are hundreds of others being chopped up to do other back dates and EV conversions as well.

Yea, considering all that work, why not start with subpar cars and leave the clean ones alone. Doesn't make alot of sense, and the good ones could live on...

Signal Green Japanese-market ‘91 C2. Shows 74k km (47k miles). Priced at $220k. Especially considering the age/mileage a lot of the car looks to have been redone and restored.

There’s a couple 964’s (black ‘93 RSA and white ‘92 C4) for sale with CPR Classic. Would be extremely cautious or just not do business with them because of the lawsuits filed against them. Here are a couple threads pertaining to the stuff they have been involved with.

Not sure I love the green on the 964, but still cool. But you're paying what, $100k give or take a few bucks for the color exclusivity? Crazy to me.

This car popped up in early February, and by the time I called it already had a deposit. They called me back earlier this week, as their buyer ghosted by the time the car arrived. The asking price has now increased. Full restoration, repaint and engine rebuild. Looks like the seats, shift ****, brake handle, etc have been recovered. No under hood options sticker, so not sure if the sport seats, radio delete etc are factory.

I ended up buying a different Signal Green / Black C2 from a Rennlister a month later. Original US car, which to me is more desirable. I am awaiting its arrival from New Zealand, where it has spent the last decade.

I saw this RSA a couple years ago when I visited RPM Sports Cars to inspect my USA Cup car. Ray also had a nearly identical red RSA to the white one with similar options, mileage, and condition. Both were passed around from dealer to dealer for a while after that. Broad Arrow actually auctioned off the red one last year however thought it was a no sale (link here to that one). They were both pristine cars, but were priced high in the mid to high 2’s. The black 3.6 Turbo was for sale with Zweck up until recently. Maybe they decided to take it off their site to auction it off with Broad Arrow. The Momo steering wheel has been changed back to the stock airbag one. Broad Arrow has been uploading more cars frequently to the list to be auctioned off so there maybe more coming.

Don’t think it should look quite like that, but can’t say for sure if the factory would’ve done it like that on some cars. Wasn’t impressed either with a lot of what Broad Arrow had on offer at Amelia. Their offerings are not as nice as the other high end auction houses.

Forgot to post that a dealer has the white RSA listed up for sale for $266k. Top of the market for a RSA and a lot for one with a sunroof and no LSD.

Current dealer listing:

Previous RPM Sports Cars listing:

The white RSA hammered for $270k ($302k with fees) and the 3.6 Turbo for $380k ($423k with fees).
