It looks very similar to Tahoe Blue which was a special order color available in various periods of the 964 generation.

Definitely not Tahoe. I have seen this color before but need to find the pics. There was one IIRC that had bad rear end damage. I bleive this was a part of the Porsche Palette but what MY?

I don't really love the way they look and it must be a rare option because I don't think I've ever seen another one with them (for good reason).
I think you might be right. I have seen the wheels on the silver car 928 GT R posted on 964's before but yours might be the only with the wheels you have I have seen. Although they are all blurring together after all these years. I have looked at so many I am beginning to forget. 😱

I had an 89 C4 that came with those wheels as new, but the dealer chromed them. I was the second owner but had the orginial paperwork showing the dealer charge for chroming. I hated them and immediate put on a set of 16" cup wheels from a later 964. The dish wheels were in the correct 964 sizes.
This looks to be about as good as they get. I bought my C2 from Paul in the fall of 2020, a couple of years after he sold my Tangerine long hood. Frankly I would rather have my car because the somewhat higher miles make the mileage less precious and I only wanted a GPW car and also looking for a later model year. That said blk/tan is beautiful and pretty hard to fault. Given this is a private sale we will never know the details though the asking does not seem crazy for such a low mile and unmolested example. Well done again Paul..

I hope they get full ask for it. My '90 Targa has 29,000 miles and is 99% as pristine and original as this coupe.
By now they all look the same but I believe this was Dan Curry's old cup and not David's. IIRC Powertech serviced the Novak's car and not Will. But that was a long time ago.
BTW finally getting the engine in the car you built back together. The timing was heavily retarded. Was that for power? Not sure who rebuilt the engine last but it was clean.
Considering selling my car, wondering how you guys would price it. It's a 91 (82k miles), originally black car that was engine-out resprayed through Sleepers in Irish Green (when they did a 3.8 slip fit Mahle build). I have RS bits (ducts, sunroof delete) and a fresh top end rebuild done as well with the motor build ~2000 miles ago. Bilsteins, Cup 1's, aero mirrors, 964 RS steering rack and lots of other goodies (too much to list) but that's the major stuff. Wondering where I should settle for an ask...was thinking 125k (honestly seems cheap given what I have into it but fair given the market?) Looking for a sanity check, mostly. Any feedback/insights appreciated.

Too cheap for a well-done 3.8, but if you want it sold quickly, that'll do it. Condition? Pics ?

It really depends on the quality of the job and how amenable buyers are to your tastes and choices. Sleepers does good work generally, so I assume it's done to a high enough level. Sounds like a great car and I'm guessing it's registered in CA already since it was built by Sleepers, that also helps with modified builds as CA buyers are the biggest buyer pool typically for these cars.
I think 125k is probably about right. If you find the right buyer who loves your choices, maybe you can squeeze an extra 10-15k out of it. In these instances, you're unlikely to recoup your spend, but that's how modified cars go in general, aside from full restomod builds from the Singers of the world. So maybe list at $135k and negotiate from there if needed?
Yeah the car is in essentially excellent shape (mechanically in beyond excellent condition), it's very clean. Good to know I wasn't out of the ballpark. Admittedly, I'm not even sure I want to sell it, I love the thing. Will give it some time and see what happens, thank you guys for the quick responses!
