Hello all, I am one of the members who bought into the initial run (2019) of parts for the 07K swap, and unfortunately due to lack of time and budget, my project has since stalled out. I have a bellhousing (+ parts), modified oil pan (+ parts), and one of the very first runs of engine mounts/valve cover/oil adapter kits. Everything is still in the boxes they came in, and the hardware/seals/etc are all still vacuum bagged from when I received it all. Being one of the early kits, there are some items missing that you would need to complete the swap that had not yet been produced; the intake, rear coolant flange, and thermostat housing adapter from what I remember (there may be more). Attached are pictures of what I have. If anyone is interested, I would be looking to get 2700 for all of it. I figured I'd post here before going straight to the classifieds.
Thanks
If you still have this, I sent you a PM with my cell. I will take it. Thanks in advance!
I think it would be safe to say most of us are using a 4-port bypass style heater valve, for those of us keeping heat, correct?
Pretty sure we went over that a while ago but I could be wrong.
Is this still working out for you? And if so do you think you could take a photo of how you have it routed? Trying to figure out a heating solution on my 84.
For those interested the 1989 turbo code aor transmission does indeed fit in a gen 1 1983 944 using the early mounts. To make it fit I cut off the top of the center mount (late variant), and bolted a flange to the side of that center mount which is welded to the original early mount. This was done on the passenger side only because the lsd removed one of the bolts for the original mount. The drivers side is completely plug and play. I also had to add 2 spacers to lower the transmission to the proper height compared to the original. See pictures
first two pictures are the transmission in the car holding its own weight with the fabricated mount.
Materials used
1) welding wire
2) flat steel bar
3) angle iron, roughly 1.5 by 1.5 inches
4) 2 longer bolts for the transmission ears to leave enough threads after the aluminium spacers.
5) Aluminium plate to make the spacers
I have been reading through this thread for a couple weeks and doing a bit of research.
This swap has the potential to work with my 74 datsun s30. I currently have a built small block ford in it.
Looking for a technology upgrade but the cost of the nissan RB's are out of hand and I like the sound and packaging and performance on the 07k.
Looking at the swap kit, it looks like most of it would work on the Z except the bell housing and the PS pump + pully. (Mounts probably wont work but may be a good starting point)
I just wanted to find out if the swap is still available? It looks like boosted bros has gone dark on youtube and their site does not have a way to get a hold of them.
Anyone know a way I can send them a message?
Thanks!

Mike is getting the kits ready for shipping this month, spoke to him last week, send them an email by their site.

Thanks for the reply. That is kind of the issue. I don't see a email address (or phone) on their site. It's very possible that is right in front of my face but I checked several times.(I even looked at the source code). https://www.boostbrothersgarage.com/

Hi, does anyone know what the thread is of the two bolts that hold the starter on? All I have are metric bolts and m12 size doesn't seem to work, are they imperial?
