Remember I emailed you a while back about power steering fittings for the high-pressure lines? Mainly the banjo fittings from the 1.8T PS pump and the cooler & rack.
We agreed that I would hold off on buying anything until you figured out which ones to be used, ring any bells?

For the thermostat housing adapter, which housing should we be looking at and which thermostat (07k or 1.8t)
Part numbers would be good, not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for.

Oil Pans
Almost ready to ship! It’s been a long and sometimes frustrating road, but I’m happy with the result.
The upper pans are ready to ship as is, but I think we’re going to treat them to a little cosmetic surface finishing with a brass cup brush first.
I finally got my zinc plating setup dialed in as well as I can. The plating is not exactly pretty, but it seems to be tough. We will be ceramic coating the outside of the sumps for appearance as well as additional corrosion protection.

Looks fantastic. I'm so excited to do this swap, It's been quite a journey. So, Alan, Mike, would you recommend installing the upper sump first, drop engine in, and then install the lower pan? What's worked for you guys in the past?
What's the status on the rest of the parts, will their ship times line up with the pan & intake do you think? (Mike quoted me 3/31 but I'm optimistic 😝

You can get it in with the subframe hanging by the caster blocks but it’s by far the easiest if you do it with the subframe out, just like the OE engine. If you are doing it solo you definitely need to drop the whole subframe in order to line up the pilot bearing and torque tube.

We recommend putting the lower sump on first, as there is one bolt that is really tough to get to otherwise.
