Another great find by you, Chuck. I actually assumed it was all those great things you mentioned above because you are interested in high quality. Is the carrier actually damaged?
Anyway, considering year, condition, color combo, mileage, and records, I would think this car would be well bought and sold for $30k, +/-.

Thanks William! It was actually posted on Flussig's FB last summer. I sent the seller a note a couple months ago and it was still available.
I think what the carrier did was strap it down over one of the axles. I suspect it's a bearing that was damaged. Soon as I get the tank back in, will deal with this issue. Hopefully the carrier will own this and I won't have to fight with them....

When it finally goes FS, I will list it for considerably more than $30k. Probably something closer to the car mentioned above. This is an original survivor. I know you know, these do not come along very often anymore. On the other hand, keeping it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world?

I do prefer cork over brown-beige, but yours does not have the pinstripe!
I have decided that my favorite colors on 928 are petrol blue and mocha brown. So, let me know when you are ready to unload and I will check with my wife (aka, bank account).

Haha! We can always ad the stripe! I actually do prefer the cork interior too. Sometimes when the options are few, you end up with second choice.... Mocha is truly a beautiful color. Now one of my favs too.
1984 Porsche 928 S Euro
condition: good
cylinders: 8 cylinders
drive: rwd
fuel: gas
paint color: blue
title status: clean
transmission: manual
1984 Porsche 928 S Euro "ZZZ"
Super Rare Euro 928 S, 4.7 Liter, 16 valve 300+ hp, Twin Distributor with 5-Speed manual transmission option code 220 (rear locking differential)
Approximately 270 Euro 928 S were brought into the US in 1984 and 20% of those were manual transmissions. The 928 Euros are rare and going up in value.
The car has German lettering in gauge cluster, power windows, power locks, power sun roof, cruise control, tilt wheel, adjustable head lights,5 speed manual trans, A/C (blows cold).
The interior is in good condition, small cracks in dash.
I bought car to restore, but don't have time, so selling. This is a 32 year old car and has been used. Car was represented as having 29,000 original miles and the speedo represented it. My guess is the car has 129,000 miles. The car fax does not give mileage, so hard to confirm one way or the other.

I talked to the previous owner and the current owner and almost brokered a deal to bring it to Green Bay for a friend. I tried to see the car last year while I was in LA but never made it out to the guys house.
I honestly thought I already posted it here, but I'm not finding it now.
Long story short, the previous owner was in Missouri, grossly misrepresented the car (hence the mileage comments above) and the current owner just wants to move on. It has never been smogged in California so owning it there will be a challenge, if even possible at all.
Could be a very fun car, but value is going to be tricky since it has obviously been repainted, mileage is unknown and other bits are not stock.
I am new to the forum and the owner of the 84 Euro mentioned above. As Hacker mentioned, I got taken advantage of on my purchase, but have since embraced the car. I have been speaking with Greg at Precision Motorwerks and I am in line to have the Trans gone through and the motor serviced. Also, going to work on getting smog legal for CA. The car has a lot of pros and cons, but I think it will be fun project.

Nice to see you on here and good to hear you are trying to keep the car. I really like the color and the over all look is very sharp! Greg will definitely get everything sorted out for you.
I wish I could have made it over to see the car, but the closest we got was San Pedro and we ran out of time that day to venture any further from downtown LA on our last day in town.
