I sold my Cobra on Ebay. It went surprisingly well. He was local, came out to see the car on the last day of the auction.

Have sold approx 30 cars/trucks, etc., on eBay with no problems. I feel eBay offers the most exposure for your vehicle even if it does not sell there. Many times buyers reach out and buy after auction has ended. T

Wow, I have only sold one big item on ebay, a vintage guitar. Can you set a reserve price when selling a car? I was a bit confused by their scheme for reserve prices, not sure if it is possible to set or if you have to somehow pay more for the privilege.

Yes you can set a reserve on an auction style listing. Can also list it as "Buy it Now" with or without offers. On another note, the Rosewood Metallic Brown 82 hammered at $ 6800. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1982-Porsche...p2047675.l2557
