Bonhams has a nice early car great colors. The estimate seems low: I can't post the picture for some reason

the estimate actually seems bout right to me. Wrong wheels (15" instead of 16"), wrong exhaust, red plug wires, wrong intake tubes, looks like restuffed front seats but maybe not - but the leather doesn't look cork like the rest of the interior, and these seats actually were vinyl. The dash likewise looks recovered, with non-matching tan instead of cork. The center consol insert was cut for an aftermarket stereo, and the A/C vent fins are broken out. It's a cool color and I hope it hits the estimate.

That car was on eBay for the last 4-6 months. I even was highest bidder on the auctions twice and didn’t meet reserve.

They were asking 45k back then and listed it multiple times as auctions, like this one:

Broad Arrow has a nice 78 in GP White over green/beige Pasha with a 5-speed and no sunroof at Amelia Island going off on the first day (Friday, March 1st).
Estimate seems a bit low at $50 to $70 grand. Ramsey says they like to keep them low on the front side.

Not a thing from a functional standpoint, but for anybody looking for a premium on an early car, which presumably would be taken to shows, you would not want aftermarket red wires up front and center in the engine bay. Gives it an American muscle car look.

This one popped up on Facebook Marketplace today. Might be a good project. I'll be back in Reno this coming weekend if someone wants me to take a look.

Another very early unit... vin 9288100065
From the ad:
This is a very early Porsche 928 of the first series, even with chassis number 65! Delivered new to a member of the Piëch family in Austria.
The original "Typenschein" booklet from Austria of its first delivery on 01. July 1977 is still present and shows its history in Austria until the 1993s. For a long time after that it stood still until a collector in the Netherlands bought the 928. He understood how unique this 928 is and gave our workshop the wonderful assignment in 2015 to carry out a restoration.
The 928 was completely repainted to a high-quality finish in its original silver metallic colour. The interior was also completely redone and upholstered in the correct materials of black leather and the beautiful Pacha upholstery. The technology has been completely overhauled, the engine has been completely rebuilt, as has the fuel system, steering, front and rear suspension, braking system and otherwise the 928 has been rebuilt with great attention to detail.
Damn shame that the "full attention to detail" resulted in incorrect full leather dash and consoles with the wrong radio and gold exterior window trim. Oh well still looks beautiful and yet another super early survivor surfaces !!
