Rumor has it that the Broad Arrow (Amelia Island) auction brought a mere $40k for this one. Further supporting a softening of the market for now. That is understandable given the reduction in liquidity that the Federal /Reserve has undertaken. In the last year they have removed $2 trillion of the $8 trillion Covid related stimulus. My guess is they will pull another trillion or so out before year end.

Estimate seems a bit low at $50 to $70 grand. Ramsey says they like to keep them low on the front side.

Not sure if this one-owner 78 up on Hagerty has been mentioned.

'92 Euro 5-speed GTS, RNM at $138K. Not sure which is more impressive, that it got bid to $138K, or that that BAT accepted a reserve of more than $138K. Beautiful car!

^^^I'm thinking reserve on that GTS was $150. Based on some other comps, $150 would have been reasonable for it.

I have noticed some subtle changes with BAT. I think they are starting to be a little more liberal with the cars being accepted for auction. There also seems to be an uptick in non payers as of late as well

I wonder how much of a deduction the partial respray was. Metalics are hard to match.

If you seen what I've seen on misrepresentation of car, I would be a walk away winning bidder. This example https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...28s-5-speed-2/ was totally misrepresented starting with a dash that was cracked beyond belief. That was only the beginning. The buyer spent another $15K with us to get everything sorted. Beware of that seller who has had dozens of auctions.

That's concerning to say the least.
I took a look at the interior pics and they show a dash and pod that appear to be perfect. How do you conceal a heavily cracked dash without the assistance of Photoshop?

A rather sad looking 928S , MY 1985 [?] abandoned in the fields in northern Greece.
Given the condition of the car, price seems to be out of reality : https://www.car.gr/classifieds/cars/...he-928?lang=en
Pity the "Porsche" script seats.

The walkaround video doesn't show a dash that is "cracked beyond belief"

Somebody laid down quite a few shekels to put this in their garage. Hope it serves them well.

I did not see this one but IMO the overall quality of the cars at BA this year was not what it was. They sold a 964 RS for $190k or close and it was all the money and then some. I wouldn't have paid close to that for it. Others are seeing double as much. Some cars had obvious mechanical issues and weren't as represented from my perspective.

Wow. There's a huge difference between omitting details/photos (not unethical, but slippery) and manipulation (fraud). I've always been under the impression that BaT was very strict when it comes to any manipulation of the details. Their oversight made them unique in my mind. I see that a winning bidder of this car bailed in 22. Maybe he had the chance to see it before he paid. BaT is adamant that the reason for non-payment was not the vehicle but the buyer
What's really a shame is that reputable sellers with integrity will now be under unwarranted scrutiny as bidders catch on.
