Rob, did you restore the car? As with any restoration I always wonder if they are "fully sorted" after all that work. This will be fun to watch. I wonder what the reserve is??
Not sure it'd be possible to write a more confusing blurb on a car, but BAT managed to do it. Yes, this is #241 that I finished restoring between February and August 2019. The last 4 pics before the video gallery are from after the car was stripped for paint, not indicative (at all) of the original paint condition.
The restoration actually began in late 2015 at another shop, got disassembled and (beautifully) repainted, but then stalled out. In late 2018 the owner reached out to WIlliam and I, and we agreed to finish the restoration- it arrived in Irvine on 2/24/19, and William and I knocked it out so it could be shown at Werks Reunion that August. I posted a bunch of pics from the project in the thread below:
EDIT: I reached out to the seller to ask about commenting on the auction, haven't heard back yet, don't want to stick my nose in the auction without their blessing.

Always like seeing different colours come up for sale. Right now there is an '87 S4 manual for sale in Germany with L999 paint - like a bronzy-gold. Not really my cup of tea but I think it actually suits the car. Asking €43,000 done 140K km.
