The purity of the design evidenced in the second photo is mesmerizing. No mirror, no side markers, no rub strips - just a clean line from front to rear. Car looks very restorable.
Wow thanks for posting, this turned out to be a great resource for me. VIN 9288100061 (car #51) I would agree that this is probably the first customer delivered car as some factory data shows the first 50 cars 00011 to 00060 to have "factory use" delivery destination codes. This auction also had 144 pictures with some interesting new data points on many of the frequent running changes through early production. I was a bit surprised to see some unique items present on #1,2,4,6, 11 still present on this car. Running and driving with a bad respray, added side moldings and passenger mirror, and a pretty damn good original interior. Bids fell well short of reserve.
If it is factory, this would certainly be a 'true' unicorn!!
Not sure how common Pasha was in the GTS, but about a month ago I sat in an Irish Green GTS Auto with factory Pasha in Sweden. Will be on the market here soon I believe.

I don't believe that is correct on early MY cars. More likely mix up coming from texts in Jörg Austen's 928 book. 0011 was first up to '81 MY, 0051 on '82 MY and 0061 was first VIN starting from '83 MY. I haven't seen any real evidence about up to 0060 being particularly special on normal MY. Same VIN range starting points were used on other models also and they didn't have anything special going on.
