I love 84-86 16V Euros, but this one does not look very well kept to me - lots of ugly and red flags under all of that gloss enhancer. I wonder how it runs with no distributors and plug wires. Stock fuel injection also missing. Must have some sort of aftermarket stuff going on under the hood.
It has Cayenne injectors now.
I’m going through it more thoroughly today.

i just bought this one (for a bit over half the original asking price). The melted bits are still there. The most annoying thing… they didn’t put the radiator fan/air pump belt back on and upon getting it home, the alternator isn’t working. It has Cayenne injectors now. I’m going through it more thoroughly today.

Y'all have seen that a few posters seriously disagree with me, but here's my opinion on 928 sales anyway: Wait.
The Risky Business 928 that is up for sale at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Houston Sept 16-18 will redefine a new leg up in the rise of 928 values and demand.
After that auction... absolutely, list your 928 for sale. Wannabe restorers and starry-eyed car-flippers are going to be snapping up every 928 that has as little as a clear title and frame remaining.
Why sell before then?! Makes no sense.
It's now all clear to sell your 928, but keep in mind, from here on out, the longer that you hold, the more that 928s will be worth. Forever.

Well I swear I didn't know the RB car would go for that much, but I'm listing my beloved S4 at a downright steal compared to that car! Moving onto another Porsche and have to let her go.

Don,
If you had listed this 6 months to a year ago, it would probably have been sold (to me) by now!! Good luck with the sale, certainly looks like a great car for a reasonable price..

Good luck Chalkboss, that’s a sweet car and priced right. I’ve already referred it to a buddy.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments. There's no way I'm staying away from 928s for long. Linderpat, thanks for the referral, he's already reached out to me. I also have not forgotten how you helped me years ago. There's no place like this forum on the internet, that's for sure.

SOMEONE PLEASE SAVE THIS CAR. An 86.5, decent paint/interior, no rub strip car for under 9k seems ok to me. Might even be Prussian Blue. Whoever owns it now does not value it at all.
I would if I could fit another one in my stables.
