Brakes felt very hard like booster wasn't working, maybe dragging brakes. Acceleration wasn't impressive. It pulled to one side on return, maybe dragging brake. Per earlier post - like 10weeks ago, it's exterior and interior have been badly compromised from exposure.

Nice car, but you need to be a member to post for sale ads of your car. It's pretty inexpensive and puts you in front of a big 928 audience.

I'm so sorry...admins, please remove. I was not aware of this being a rule.

here is a great foundation car. Even has the manuals. 6500 is a great price if the car is running.

Dallas is too far away for me, but I think this is one I would chase if it were near me.

I wonder what’s up with it? If it’s been for sale that long, perhaps it’s a negotiable price.

Car is also on Facebook Marketplace for $5,500. This sucker looks to need a LOT of cosmetic work....and that is even before you get to the mechanicals. I do like the phone and head unit!

If anybody on the East Coast wants it I'll fly out and drive it home for you.

Dang. Is this a 50% off Christmas sale? Looks like a good deal but looks do not tell the whole picture. If only it was a 5-speed we would all be running to the scene of the fire. With the auto only half of us will be. Lol. One owner? Has books and working A/C? Dash not toast? 94k miles? Real nice interior and decent paint? I don't love the exterior color. Kinda blah. The description sounds kind of like a sales pitch for the "preferred shipping company". Maybe the owner is a truck driver? I drove a 951 this week for sale that looked better than it drove that's first sure. I would never pay sight unseen but this looks promising. If I was within driving distance I would certainly be asking the seller to come see it.

Someone should jump on this one:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...-new-post.html

It’s had a color change from GP White to some sort of pearl white, but otherwise looks like a pretty well preserved Euro 78 with original Pasha.

Platinmetallic is one of the most luxurious and beautiful colors to clad a 928 IMHO. These pictures dont really show it off, but it looks quite contemporary and glistens in the sun. Its not flashy, but very elegant and befitting of the car. 84 autos, with their 4 speed trans are some of the nicest all around versions for performance cruising in comfort.

Totally agree on Platinum Metallic. One of my all-time favorite 928 colors, especially on an early, spoiler-less 928. Not to mention, the color of the Risky Business car.
