Default 1985 Automatic for sale - Sold

The car is in decent shape mechanically with recent timing belt/water pump service. It has been repainted at some point, the interior is a bit rough.

Price as is, where is for Rennlist members - $5000

Location - near Chilton WI (75 miles north of Milwaukee, 40 miles south west of Green bay)

Details - 1985, automatic, roughly 100,000 miles (odometer has not always worked), all brakes replaced (pads and rotors) - calipers rebuilt, power steering rack replaced, all fuel lines and radiator hoses replaced, etc.

Additional pictures available upon request.

Looks a bit "well used" for that kind of mileage....

Gotta love the seller enthusiasm for his car. Nicely staged shots, car properly detailed and vacuumed, oh wait - never mind!

I am always amazed at people who leave gobs of cash on the table because they have zero sense about how to sell something. It is too easy to at least put the car in a parking lot away from other stuff, and clean it out just a little bit. Tells you a lot about the seller, and therefore the car.

Oh yeah, that mileage - 37000 - sure. Add a 2 before it based on the looks of it.

Clearly a car that spent no time in a garage for more than an hour or so.
37,000 is conceivable....
...if used as a Tokyo Uber

I don't know this car, but looks like it sold 6 months ago for $3,550. As the ad states, salvage title.

I watched this car go thru the auction. I was a back bidder. It was a nice car considering.

Pictures of the engine from the auction site show the twin dizzie in place as well as the stock fuel injection system. I wonder what happened to all of that since then. I see melted bits (fan shroud for example) in the current pics. So, there is a story here. It was probably a decent buy for what it sold for at auction, not so much at the current ask IMHO.

My guess....they are still bringing it back to life and did the images to get it on the market prior to it being done. Just a guess

Will be interesting to see how it does this go-round. The general market is better than it was the last week of February 2020......

A really rough 1980 popped up for sale near me, and I spotted this. What's the story with these seat controls? Maybe they were they just removed from the side of the seat when the cover was put on and just set there to retain access?
