A very nice Euro S 5speed! No sunroof, sport seats.
That is an understatement! One of the nicest 928's I have ever seen. Must be a repaint because it looks like showroom condition!

The car is dry iced cleaned and has full service documentation from Porsche. I think 33 points classic card check for service discount has the car too.

WOW!

It's the 5-speed version of mine (not for sale).

So for that 86.5 on BAT, how is the thrust bearing clearance addressed? If it hasn't been measured recently would a prospective buyer have it measured during a PPI? I haven't reached out to the owner of this car, so they may have the information. I'm casually shopping to an auto to replace my 81 5spd but I rarely see the thrust bearing clearance addressed in the ads for auto cars. I've been hesitant on some cars in my price range as I'm still trying to work through the best way to get that measurement other than find a local shop where the car is located. Thanks, Tom

The thrust bearing end play was measured at 0.007" (0.18mm) and released with front & rear clamps tightened to 67 ft. lbs. We have pictures/video if more evidence is desired and may upload to BAT.

Check it out on BAT. It's had a TON of work done by experienced 928 enthusiasts in the Columbus, OH, area. Pretty much everything has been touched, fixed, repaired or replaced. You could get a PPI locally, but frankly most P Car shops won't know enough about a 928 to give you your money's worth. The guys selling the car will tell you everything you want or need to know... and then some.

One thing I’ve noticed about BaT bidders, they’re very sensitive to odometer issues. I’ve seen bidders comment that they view a title mileage discrepancy in the same light as having a branded/salvage title.

I would go as far as to say that no 928 with several owners has had a broken odometer at some point and are "true mileage unknown". This one was documented by a dealer probably by law.

Mine certainly is TMU, never would have expected main bearing wear on a "71k" odometer. I just think this one may have been better marketed in the RL For Sale forum, where it might have sat for a longer time but gotten a higher sale price from someone who was really looking for a sorted driver.

OMG...5sp GTS, no rear air, and no sunroof! Add some sport seats and it's near perfect I think the euro is almost at par with the USD....Hmmmm.
