For the most part, 911 owners are snobby little dickweeds. Just like the Ferrari, and Lambo owners I've met. But when it's all out there, it's time to put up or STFU, they wet their leg, and come up with some excuse why their hotdog ride can't hold it's own with my Pantera.
BTW, the 911 clowns don't run their mouth around me either. As I recall my 71 911 was Lawn Boy green too. I would like to own a 930 turbo, but I'd rather have a Mangusta!

As a FCar owner I can't say that I've been a weed' around other owners. A 74' Tomaso versus a Lambo or FCar other than a 308.. I might be questioning that..

The real Porsche Pikes Peak hero..
".Last month we showed you a video chronicling Jeff Zwart's 1,132 mile road trip from Southern California to Pikes Peak in his quest to break his own 2WD Time Attack record in a stock Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The second video, showing Zwart's run up the mountain, has now been released. The footage of the attempt is excellent.
While Zwart didn't manage to come up home with the title, it would be difficult to not consider his drive a success. He smashed the Pikes Peak record for stock production cars, and his time of 11:07.869 bested his previous attempt in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car by 24 seconds......"
And that is a two wheel drive Porsche production car.

Carl's 2009 time was a 13:47. 2011 Zwart in the GT2RS did a 11:07 the prior year in a GT3 911 Zwart did 11:31 . So the 911 is the Pikes Peak winner !

How much does a "stock Porsche production car" such as the 911 GT2 RS cost?
I can make my 928 as good/better than a GT2 if i was given the money it cost to buy a 911 GT2...

HAR-Har.. very funny. Here is the car with my 2.5 turbo. First video Starts at a 20mph roll. As I'm passing the camera car, that shift is 2nd to third (60mph) The exhaust backfire is shifting from third to fourth at 97mph. Watch the time it take to do it from the start. I will be very happy to have the same power as my 4 cyl turbo.
The second video is me running 11's here in Houston. I babied the start and just made up the distance with power. So yeah, hoping the V8 has the same power. The car in my avatar is the same car. It's still in transformation to mostly track car.
