Sincerly hope it's not, but that's exactly what I had to do previous to the door handle carrier breaking, through the usual stress fracture, "finger's crossed"

Great! That hasn't happened but now the driver side door (The one I "fixed") won't lock. The passenger side cycles locks but then unlocks.

Went to "Le guide de l'Auto" auto show today at ICAR.

I won one of the two "Judges Favorite Awards" awarded to our PCA group.

The other award went to a beautiful GT2.

A lot of nice comments from the general public on the 928.

It's nice to see that our cars are getting more and more attention.

I also had the chance to do few laps as passenger in a GT3.

That's a FAST car...

Thanks Don.

I went to the same event again today.

Again, they gave two awards to our PCA group.

They choose a GT3 and a... 928.

Judges are car journalists.

It's nice that they appreciate the 928.

Bertrand, congrats!!!!! I told you when I saw you and your car at Porsche Parade you should be showing it, it's beautiful! Looking forward to seeing you at Frenzy.

Went to "Porsche Day" at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum Saturday, over 200 Porsches. The GT got a lot of attention which seems the trend more and more Drew (Drooman) was there with his 1978 green/pasha Euro which got a lot of attention also.

52 degrees here is Boston suburbs this morning and took a run in the GT and it just feels and sounds soooo much nicer in the cool morning air..got to love these cars!

Installed the low profile shroud and new fans from Hans. More CFM, quieter, more room in front of the engine, and quick disconnect and removal/installation. What's not to like?

Received the 928 decals from Bertrand and finished converting the ratty old '928S' aluminum thresholds.

Tomorrow I'm going to see a man about a stripe!

Just got it back from service today. New fuel lines, motor mounts, silicone oil pan gasket and the recirculating flap actuator.
