Replaced the small coolant hose that goes from the back of the waterblock to the coolant T that runs to the expansion tank then topped it up with coolant.
Maybe this will finally end my search for why water was leaking into the V of the engine after my waterbridge debacle.
They came out of someone's parts car. I bought a pair of leather seats and the seller told me to take anything else that might be of use to someone. I grabbed a couple things, including those aluminum thresholds.
They originally were covered in a 'no skid' kind of stuff, with the '928S' cut out. I cleaned off the old stuff and Bertrand made me the decals.
I bought a pair from Rennline. They're just a hair short to cover all the holes, so made some transition curves with cf vinyl to finish the job and adhered a CF wrapped logo to the center. Might give you another way to go.
Fixed the non op cruise control. My first suspect was to rule out loss of ground because of a failed 3rd brake light (all others are LED). Bulb was good, but there was a loose connection that needed correcting.
Other thing today was registering my car in the new state I am living in now. After I got my plates I was happy to find my same plate I had in Maine was available in the Empire State. I booked it online forthwith. Was a day with reflection.
Polished entire car with Chemical Guys VSS
Sealed entire car with Chemical Guys Blacklight
Applied Chemical Guys spray sealer
Removed 30 year old dealer badge from rear bumper with heat gun and trim remover (and patience)
Cleaned and conditioned entire leather interior
Vacuumed entire cat
Cleaned all windows in and out
Replaced my Jager hood liner / heat shield with the versions from 928 Motorsports. After just 18 months and limited use, the large portion had become brittle already and the small portion was coming loose.
Not the first mile on the new ones yet, but I have to say, the material is nice and light, seems like it will be extremely durable, and more heat reflective. Looks like another well thought out and designed offering from Carl.
Installed a spare set of Jager shark graphics I had.
