Stared at wiring diagrams and the CE panel. Got confused and side tracked. Over thought how to get a switched 12 volt source without cutting any wires.

Got my plan together but need a larger gauge connector.

That is great George.

I'm happy to report that I had no issues and there were no puddles under the car afterwards. Will take a longer drive this weekend.

Next up, find and repair an a/c leak... before SITM.

Hey John, awesome looking engine.

I noticed the long steel braided lines.
I am also using different rails and steel braided but my line will go from the right fender to a T at the passenger rail and then straight to the drivers rail.
I just thought it may clean the look up a bit for you,
But Dam I wish I had your independent throttle set up. Looks awesome.

Hi Brad
Suggest that you make at least one pair of holes slotted so you can adjust the pot volts at idle... I assume that is a throttle pot ?

The Reason For This Post

It dose not fit as well as it should and this is what I had to do.

The mounting holes on the plate are wider then the mounting holes on the sensor by about a 32nd

So I used the Dremo again to widen the holes, just enough for the machine screws to start without cocking sideways.

This is what it looks like when installed

Hi Brad
This is my friend's race car which I sponsor with parts and slave labour :-)

I think the fuel lines are run that way in order to fit an airbox around the ITBs, which will be fitteed once that initial setups are finished.

Bill and I did a little of that yesterday on the road to Truckee. Only did some
2nd and 3rd gear tuning.

No fishtailing here. Bill doesn't seem to like that, especially after doing a
360 on highway 13 when the PSD locked up during a 2nd gear pull in the
wet a couple of years ago. No PSD now, but it was still a little wet from all
the snow melt.

From what we saw yesterday, there was a big difference in tuning 2nd gear and
3rd gear even when they go through the same cells in the LH map. Also there
was a big difference in tuning at sea level and 6000 ft elevation. We'll do top end
load tuning on the dyno, since we want to tune in the 180-200 mph range...

Suggest that you datalog, save the LH bin and then use the SharkPlotter program to best optimise the fuel map.

my new injectors arrived! so managed to fit 6 just two wont budge so will strip off intake units on those two cylinders to get them fitted in the next few days.but even with 6 fitted its sounding 80% better.all will be revealed on the trip to work in the morning as to whether this has solved my elusive misfire as low rpms.

It was good of you to catch that John proves you know your stuff.
The plate holes are large enough that it moves a bit but once I get the engine in and the harness built then I can hook up the lap top and see whet the ECM reads.
I am hoping that it will be within spec or I will have to slot the adapter plate some more. It wont be to bad to do if I remember to check before everything goes on.

But Thanks

Used lunch break to remove Cup 2's and installed the manholes.

Going to see if I can get time tomorrow to get new tires put on the CLW's

I'm hopeful for some garage time this evening.
