Bertrand looks great. Once you get it clean, it is really easy to keep it that way also.

I had used Turtle wax bug and tar on the cosmoline and dirt and also Goop (?) remover and it worked pretty well and didn't give off the fumes that thinner gives off. That and good old elbow grease. Link to album where wheel wells after they were cleaned. The spray wax/detailer really helps to keep the area clean going forward.
Hope to see you again at frenzy this year!

Thanks Bob.
I plan to go there (wheel wells) every year and clean everything.
Like you said, should be quite easy to keep it that way.
Should be at Frenzy again this year so I hope to have the chance to see you there.

Replaced the outside window seal on the passenger door. Not a bad job at all really although I did remove some skin from two fingers. Wondered why in Rogers instructional video the guy had tape on his fingers. Now I know why

Fixed the front spoiler where it is attached to RHS front splash shield. Screw holes cracked/elongated so used couple of repair washers and a new speed nut (the original had rusted away). Spoiler correctly fixed now and doesn't sag.

On my second attempt it slid on like a hot knife through butter.. All of 5 minutes.
Do put some tape on your fingers like the guy in the video, my fingers are killing me from the constant scrapping.
Drivers side tomorrow

Just cleaning. Working my way around the car. Drained and refilled diff also. Probably went through ten cans cleaner... the CRC heavy duty wipe off stuff. Nice since it does not reek and leaves no residue.

Small thing.
'Fixed' the DS Lloyd's mat in place with the factory carpet caps by making two holes in the Lloyds.
'Fixed' one PS carpet cap through the Lloyd's mat (medial cap). Will fab a stalk for the lateral cap tomorrow - existing factory cap stalk not in adequate position to fixate the Lloyd's mat.
Want to rid myself of the annoying Lloyd's mat 'creep'.
