Pulled the alternator , starter , sway bar , AAV etc just so I could remove this

pending some winter evenings with a soldering iron .
Looks a bit like a cerebral angiogram!

As mentioned in another thread:
I painted the "PORSCHE" (between the tail lights) black and the "PORSCHE" on the brake calipers and top of the intake plennum red. I also discovered that you dont have to have the key in the "on position" or depress the brake pedal to take the car out of park....I'm thinking this is a problem. I also plan on diagnosing and hopefully repairing my recently DEAD ds window motor.

I made the longest trip since ownership this past weekend. 761 miles, with the wifey. No complaints. (of the car or from her)

Raised the ride height at the rear one turn on the collars.

I've always thought it looked too low in back, then measured it and found it exactly at the lowest spec for a car "with some miles on it" (something like that is stated in the manual). When I visited Fraggle last weekend my car was slightly lower in back and my wheels had noticeably more camber. After cleaning nuts/collars with brake fluid and a tooth brush, and soaking with Blaster for about an hour, I marked the nut and collar with a Sharpie and turned them with the C-spanner. Not difficult. Collars seemed to move up about 5 mm. Immediately after lowering the car the ride height came up a bit more (and no more noticeable camber) , which I'm pretty sure is due to the springs winding a bit while turning the collar. Going for a drive to see how it all settles down, and check to see if the Sharpie lines on the nut and collar stay aligned.

Default hatch lock

Changed the oil and replaced the upper hatch lock. Now I can put the interior lights own and they come on when door is open and off when closed. Another small repair with instant results.

Had some power steering issues on the drive home from a short trip. Popped the hood and found the power steering belt about to fall of, shredded. Turns out a bolt apparently didn't get torqued properly when I put the pump back on last year when I was mucking about in the engine bay.

Make sure your bolts are torqued or they could walk out and take a vacation on your belly pan.

Darn sunroof again.
Fuse 14 - OK
Check incoming voltage at Brown and Red/White at forward harness - OK
Checked continuity of each of the 4 wires off the switch OK.
Now it works fine (for now)
Gotta be the switch mechanics - Will do one more 'surgery' there if troubled again - this time Dremel to overhang of the metal armature over the already whittled plastic edge. If this no good - new switch.

Finally got rid of the tacky looking egg crate hood insulation for something a bit more classy.
I used multiple velcro tabs for the cover over the emissions sticker...hopefully they'll hold up.
Project took 2 hours by myself. I can't believe how light the hood is on these cars!

All my cars loose nuts and bolts are getting a good polishing before getting screwed back in.

Works great so far but there is a little wear on the edges after just 3 uses.
Worked great! These are engine, body and suspension bolts. All clean and no dirt on my hands
