Wheel alignment done on the 87.. everything in spec following changing steering rack and replacing a bent tie rod, as well as removing and re-plating the rear eccentrics while I had it apart to do shocks etc.

Spent 90 minutes trying to disconnect exhaust behind the cats only to realize I could've just undone the entire exhaust at the headers in 20 minutes. ![banghead](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif)
Plan B tomorrow night.
Then go on to drop the rear-suspension and the transmission.

FWIW before you drop the header pipes.
make sure to open the CE panel and disconnect the O2 sensor,
then push the wires through the chassis,
otherwise you will be buying a new sensor

Bought an interim motor as the original GT motor comes out shortly to be rebuilt due to head gasket failure. The interim motor is a known good block and heads, currently all stripped down and cleaned, ready for assembly. Crank off to get balanced and heads will receive Colin's cam's.
Looking forward to the project, have a lot of deferred maintenance and a few upgrades

Awoke it today from it's four months winter sleep and it started right up, took it for a long drive and enjoyed every second of it.
Next: new OPG + motor mounts this upcoming weekend (followed by TB + WP + new cam gears and some other items).

A very important day...6 months of storing and working on the 928 in a 10x20 storage unit ended today when I drove it to our new home and put it in the garage. We haven't moved in yet, the house is empty - but the 928 has landed.

Took it out for a drive like usual, DD duty.Engine just keeps getting smoother and smoother. Next step, replace the AFM and fuel pump.
Maybe then I wont have to go into the fuel enrichment as often.

Removed front seat . . .
Re - Soldered circuit board pin connections.
Repaired a rubbed wire that was wore thru to the copper
Re installed seat
AND now the adjustments for the seat and mirrors work every time without bouncing in the seat!

Nothing, it's staying dry in the garage.
BTW, only put 210 miles on it so far this year, I have some parts in a box to put on, but it's ready for a drive when I am.

Doing new motor mounts and OPG, and a few other "WYAIT" type of jobs. And wow: what a major "real pain in the you know what" type of task with taking the cross member out (as many has warned for), I have no idea how some Rennlisters can do that and complete this task in just one day all by themselves.

Busy with TB & WP tear-down and other WYAIT (and I'm lucky to have someone as experienced like Erkka showing me how it is all done in the proper way):
