Glad to hear you were able to get the brakes done.

Took her to cars and coffee with my son to show off her new stealth mirrors, which I did yesterday!
Still can't decide if I like them in black? You?

78 here in Dallas today. Taking advantage of the beautiful day to condition the leather in the 928 and wash both the 928 and 911. So ready for spring, but not looking forward to the heat of summer.

I'll be checking Amazon from now on also. Probably be able to find some of the more miscellaneous items I need that aren't readily available.

Took her for a spin and put some miles on her after finally putting an end to the transmission leak. Gave her a long overdue washing. The only leaky gravity drops I have now on the garage floor is oil coming from the pan bolts. That's a summer job along with motor mounts and a rebuilt steering rack. Next I'm going to pull and replace the FPR and damper. Re-seat the passenger side fuel rail and finally install the Porken chips

I took advantage of the rare warm up here and completed my expansion tank install. Got the coolant in her, then started her after she sat through most of the winter. She started up pretty well, telling my my winter reinstall of the alternator worked out fine. Had a few fuses to fix, but she's back in good shape.

Sadly, I can't drive her around due to the horrible roads right now.

Will have to join you some Saturday...first need to take care of finding a reasonably priced front spoiler and brake duct grill. Just got the 84 928 home today.

My front spoiler is badly damaged, and I have no grille. I am in desperate need of one, but don't want to spend the $$$ they ask. There is a wrecked 928 at a body shop by my house, I'm going I check and see if they will sell me theres...

I replaced the bulbs in the pod switches. (No, I didn't upgrade to LEDs. That'll be part of a much larger project to come.) I also bought the 928 its own remote for the garage door opener. Eventually, that will be replaced with a Homelink system when the inside rearview mirror gets updated to a self-dimming model.

The list isn't getting any shorter.

Took advantage of afternoon highs in the upper 60F range and put 200 twisty mountain miles on the odo.

Happy Times.

Have a bumping sound from the rear. So tied down the Borla so it couldn't bang against the battery box or sway bar control link.

Didn't work.

So I raised her up and started banging things around and looking for anything loose. Started on the right side. Nothing.

On the left side the transmission cross member bolts were loose.

The forward one a little and the rearward one a lot. Or at least enough for a turn or so.

Never touched these before.
