DIY engine stand using what's left of a cocked up HF stand that failed years ago.

More to come.

Yesterday Sunday: last driving around before putting the car away for winter sleep this year. A bit of local shopping (I guess I'm partial to the colour blue ):

And before tucking away (will arise again during April 2014, while doing several minor jobs during the winter time).

Oh you poor american / europeans with your 6 months of winter, I washed mine and took her for a blast in the beautiful Australian sunshine.

Gave her a bath, dressed and covered her up and put her to sleep for the winter. Here's hoping for an early thaw next year.

Too busy replacing parts to wash mine. Today I replaced the Auxiliary fan and belt driven radiator fan with an electric fan. Few minor issues to fix in the morning before I head across town to pick up more parts from the US.

No job at the moment so have a bit of time to work on my car. Garden in the morning when it is cool and work on the car in the afternoon when it is hot.

Well, I'm European, but not of "those" with 6 months of winter lol!
After a few rainy days, today it's very dry, sun is shinning, about 14ºC, an ideal temperature for the v8 to "sing" so wonderfully as we all know....
Just a quick clean of the glasses around the car and here I go hear the "music"!
Damn, I love this car!!!

Talking Remove fuel injection and started fab for 4 weber idf carbs and linkage!

we are going to make carb manifolds for idf and ida 4.5 and 4.7 usa/euro. Too many old harness/computers/mafs/sensors starting too fail. we are gonna crank out some affordable manifold/linkage kits.

Checked that the new paint is in order. It should be finished quite soon now.

My baby came back home today, after it was safely stored at a friend's house for the past month (due to plumbing, electrical, and finish work in my garage). To my big surprise, it started right up. I wish I could have driven it a bit more, but had to run an errand that the electric chair was more suitable for.

GT is on the operating table awaiting anesthesia. It will get a full engine-ectomy with TB/WP, etc.
